I have a long hair cat and several double coated cats. Ms long hair in the pic will not clean herself or her sanitary area. She has terribly greasy skin, a lot of dandruff and she smells like an outhouse. Despite numerous baths, she does not come clean or smell nice. My double coats can each fill a bathroom size trash can with hair every week. It’s exhausting to brush them for an hour every day. I didn’t have any hopes for this gizmo but WOW! The first thing I did was shave Ms stinky down every where except her face, feet and tuff at the end of her tail. Then I tackled her with baby wipes until they came away clean. Within a few days, she was no longer greasy, i didn’t see any dandruff and she was more active. I see her grooming herself all the time now. Ms stinky pants is not smelly anymore and is a very happy girl! The other cats are so much nicer to groom with the comb on the vacuum attachment. The fluff balls that used to float in the air and make my face itch when using a regular brush are now completely sucked into the vacuum. It’s super easy to clean and very quiet. 90% of my cats love to be brushed with the vacuum on the low setting. I just finished trimming Ms stinky pants (not her real name) for the second time since I’ve had the machine (about 6-8 weeks) and she complained some but didn’t move around. I really think she feels better because she acts like a happy kitty now. If you’re on the fence about this don’t be afraid to try it. It’s truly amazing how well it works and how easily the cats got used to it. I even tried it on the mastiff and he didn’t even notice.

This has worked fairly well for my cats. It is fairly quiet and nice to have the vacuum attach to the shaver for a lot less hair to clean up. I does take practice but not hard to use for beginners.

This cost less than taking my long-haired cat to the groomer just once. I have 3 cats so this is a great investment. Two of my cats have taken to it and enjoy getting a daily vacuum brushing. Their fur looks so shiny and soft. It has really cut down on shedding. My third cat is slowly acclimating to it but doesn't struggle. The key is to use the level one and just brush or comb them until they adjust.

Meowing! This unit is so awesome. So quiet! I owned a different unit and could not buy spare parts for it and was so loud! Don’t be fooled by look-alikess. Also, Oneisall sells replacement parts that you may eventually need. They give a 24 hour phone number listed in their manual if help or questions arise. If you have a cat, be sure to order the unit for a cat. It has different accessories than there other unit this company makes for cutting dog hair. Really a nice unit and so easy to clean, light-weight, also. Well-thought-out product that cuts the heaviest fur like my kitty has, with ease! Thank You Oneisell for making a fantastic product!

It def does the job and isn't loud. I started on the lowest speed and gradually increased the power while grooming and halfway through went to high. My cat wasn't bothered by the noise and it made brushing so much easier. There was no fur flying everywhere or fur balls all over the bathroom. The debris and fur container isn't that big but it still worked rather well when full. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this vac for anyone who has to regularly brush their animals. It also worked well on the furniture and curtains to remove the fur.

Cat background: My long haired Calico HATES to be groomed. She screams so loud you'd think I was abusing her. She's just very particular but not matted or anything, so it's not technically painful, she just hates it. She is also not deathly afraid of a vacuum sound, however she does keep an eye on vacuums to make sure it doesn't "get" her. This is not nearly as loud as even my wand vacuum. The process: Not only does she tolerate this grooming, she actually comes up to it and rubs her face. She seems to like the cool air that comes out of the brush. She does try to squirm away after a few minutes but if I do it daily and definitely after she goes out on the patio then I have significantly reduced the cat hair and dander inside the house. She already knows as soon as she comes inside that a brushing is coming and I give her a few treats afterwards and it keeps her calm. The attachments for cleaning off fabric have been great for keeping her cat tree clean. The deshedding tool is great and works just as well as the expensive defurminator I used to use. Customer service was great and they sent a replacement hose when I needed it do to a kink. Recommendation: I used to have to try to toggle the screaming cat with claw resistant gloves, then take the fur out of the brush after just a few strokes then spend time trying to collect all of the flying hair from everywhere. It was an arduous mess. I would have paid twice as much for this and wish I bought it years ago. I highly recommend!!

This is the best way to trim a long haired cat. It works great.

The motor is fairly quiet, even on high and the hose is long enough to place the motor a distance from the cats. However, they don't like the sucking noise it makes. I'm not surprised that my female is afraid of it, but my male supervises the vacuuming, so he's a bit of a surprise. I did manage to brush my male with the motor turned off. The surprise was the kitten who let me brush him, when he wasn't attacking the brush. I think he saw me brushing my male, so he thought it was safe. The adults did watch me brushing the kitten, so I'm sure my male will come around eventually. My males are both fairly outgoing, but the kitten is not as bright. I'm happy with the quality and design of the unit, the hose and cord are a good length and the attachments are good quality. I wish the suction was a little better, but I understand the need to balance the noise with the performance.
