In my opinion Teraflex makes the best of these brands in terms of quality
Purchased this item for a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I have installed a number of lifts on Wrangler JK's over the years including Old Man Emu (OME); Skyjacker; Rough Country and Mopar. In my opinion Teraflex makes the best of these brands in terms of quality, completeness of components as well as overall installation instructions and support. The lift itself went on with minimal issues taking about 3 hours to complete the rear and 2 hours to complete the front. Take the time to review a couple of instructional video's online which will save you time when you are installing the lift. Based on my experience, the rear brake line relocation brackets are not needed and when used result in the brake lines sticking out and rubbing with the rear shock absorbers. In addition, I installed the rear bumpstop and had issues as it left less than 3" of travel; I opted not to install either the front or rear teraflex bumpstops. Beyond that, the install fit perfectly and all hardware was included. The ride quality did improve over the stock "Sport" suspension ride quality. By improve, the ride is now softer and the suspension absorbs the bumps better than it had with the stock suspension. In addition to adding the suspension lift; I added 1.5" wheel spacers and was able to fit 33.25" Tires (295x75x17) with no issues. If installing larger tires, ensure you get an actual tire diameter and width and do not rely on the generic specifications published by manufacturers as they are often times inflated vs. actual size. I did not install the exhaust spacer that is advertised as I do not plan on using the Jeep off-road where I will be maxing out the articulation or suspension. Based on literature, this exhaust spacer is required/recommended when you will be flexing the suspension to it's limit. Highly recommend the suspension lift!

Easy Install
I finally installed the lift this weekend on a JKU in my garage. Having watched the YouTube videos helped before starting this project. The springs and shocks with this kit are more heavy-duty than the OEM components. I didn't have any problems, although I wish I would have bought the JKS sway bar quick disconnects at the same time. I have simple tools nothing special.... floor jack, jack stands, and standard wrenches and ratchets, pry bar. I measured the front fender flare at the lower edge and it was exactly 36 inches; once complete I measured again and it was 39 1/4, so a little more than just 2.5 inches of lift. The ride is certainly better than stock, that was the first thing I noticed other than being higher. My wife even mentioned it was smoother than the stock suspension. Very happy that I put this lift on my Jeep. Watch the YouTube videos, plan on 5 hours, consider the JKS quick disconnects for the front sway bar. I had my 10 year old son help, mostly raising and lowering the jack and minor gopher work otherwise I did this myself in about 5 hours.

Good purchase, nice product, Teraflex makes some pretty decent stuff.
Great system, very happy with it. I've been driving on it for 3 months now. It was an easy install and the Teraflex youtube install video makes it easy to plan your install. I don't really notice a ride difference from stock and that's what I was going for with 2.5" extra inches for some 32" BFG KO's. Now my Jeep has an aggressive stance and is a decent trail and daily driver. Would've like to got the upgrade with the Fox shocks but that blows the price sky high. Not pictured is the upgraded rear track bar bracket that attaches to the axle. It's bolt on so there is no need to drill the frame like with the one step down version of this kit. You do have to transfer the rear sway links to the front so make sure they're in good shape before you start your install. I completed the install of this kit in 4 hours with the help of a lift at a slow pace. I also recommend that you torque everything to spec. There's a couple torque charts available on the forums.

Product perfect, Amazon ability to send correct mit. Not so perfect.
I love this lift kit. Beryeasyto I stall. Took about 6hours with jack stands the only issues had with installation Were dealing with bolts that were rusted to my jeep shocks. Definitely worth the money. Plus. No death wobble with it. Slapped 35" Toyo open countries on it the next day. Now with that aside. It took Amazon 3 tries to send me the lift kit I ordered. First one didn't include the shocks. The second order had the correct shocks, but the kit was incorrect. Finally the 3rd kit was the correct shocks and kit. Each one came from a different amazon facility. I don't know if the first 2 people just saw the first 3 numbers of the kit and said "good enough" or what. But Amazon did compensate for making me change my plans 3 different times.

Great ride improvement, but you'll likely need additional items for your lift!
I purchased the Teraflex 1251000 2.5" lift for my 2015 JKU. I will say the ride is much improved over stock. Gone is the squishy, soft, back and forth swaying when going over bumps, as well as the front end dipping on braking. The ride feels much more stable and controlled. No disappoinment at all here with that. However, the instruction packet I received was missing anything to do with the axle mounted track bar relocation bracket, and I was missing washers for the sway bar links. I utilized Facebook messenger as a means to interact with TeraFlex to get my questions answered. Throughout the entire process, I received very responsive answers from Teraflex. Then I noticed my axles were not centered under my JKU any longer. This was a very disappointing outcome caused by the TeraFlex lift kit that I was unaware of going into the process. The pros of this product are definitely the ride improvement (night and day). The cons of this product are the incomplete/outdated instructions in the kit, the fact I was missing washers and had to get a ride to the hardware store to buy them in the middle of my install, having to buy the exhaust spacers separately, and biggest of all not knowing I was going to need to spend more on adjustable track bars for the front and rear in order to be able to center my axles again. Would I have bought a different/less expensive 2.5" lift kit had I known that I would also need to buy front and rear adjustable track bars to recenter my axles? I actually might have, but I don’t know if the ride quality would have been improved as much as it was with this kit. So in the end I'm happy with the purchase but I would recommend buying the front and rear adjustable track bars with it and installing at the same time.

Great lift
This lift is awesome for my 2012 Sahara. I would even say it is slightly better then stock ride. The install was pretty straight forward with a mechanics help. Using a lift and having a garage to use was big help and took about 5 hours. I did run into problems with the front brake lines. There is no relocation bracket and do not like the recommended setup that Teraflex gives. The brake lines were nearly impossible to get out of the stock brackets. I would recommend going to forums for ideas before ripping the stock brackets off, some people have other ideas. The lift actually gave me about 3 inches in the front and just over 2 inches in the back. I love the way it looks with stock Sahara tire and wheels, i may even actually keep it like that. I did not need the exhaust spacer or wheel spacers to this point and may not even utilize them unless I see a problem later.

Save your money and buy elsewhere!!
Absolute TRASH. Save your money and buy a better product from a company that will stand behind their goods. Installed this kit on my 09 Rubicon mid February and mid April the shocks are blown! Tried contacting the seller and get NOTHING back from them.

Good kit..bad rust
The kit is complete and does the job. The issue is that after 15 months the shocks and springs are rusting out badly. Not sure I'd buy these again
