I’ll admit I was skeptical, but these chocolate crickets were surprisingly good! The chocolate completely covers any “bug” taste, and the crickets add a nice light crunch — similar to crisped rice. They tasted fresh, not stale, and the chocolate was smooth and rich. They’re a great conversation starter, but also genuinely enjoyable if you’re adventurous or curious about sustainable protein. Packaging was intact but they had been melted quite a bit. I’d absolutely buy them again and would recommend them to anyone looking to try something unique (or brave 😄).

I do enjoy the taste of crickets, had them with other things but my kids wanted to try them as well. From 4 of my kids who tried it 3 loved it and asked for more and even the biggest ones! If a 4/8/10 year old enjoys them you know its good. They wont even eat veggies hardly, the quality of the chocolate is great as well. Its a bit pricey, wish they had a larger bag for sharing that could help reduce cost per cricket as well. Definitely give them a try!

It was shipped UPS. I don't like UPS. They sometimes give my packages to my neighbors. Of course, in this particular order, I'm not sure that they would want to keep it lol. It arrived in a small box. I actually thought the box was empty because it was so light. Inside the box was a silver pack. Inside the silver pack was a little bag containing the grasshoppers. There was probably 6-7 pieces. They are very small. I ate one and it went "crunch" lol. Similar to the crunch from kit-kat bars. It only took me a minute to eat the whole bag. My friends in Mindanao sometimes eat fried grasshoppers. I can't imagine that they are this expensive though. That's the reason for only 4 stars. While the quality, packaging, shipping speed and uniqueness was excellent, the price is about double what it's worth.

Awesome taste. Eaten these I Thailand, which tend to be bigger there than the ones packages here, but lots of flavor and bbq taste

It taste like dry wood, no flavor overcooked

Not worth the cost. 4 grasshopper for $12.50. Grasshoppers were over baked and small. The chocolate made them look much larger.

I bought these for use to try. They were pretty good. I will try the other insects they offer.
