Great for tracing railroad lines
DeLorme Gazetteers are great for showing railroad lines and then coupled withsatellite images one can see the industries on the lines.

A great Atlas for any state
This was a gift for a friend who is a geologist who was curious about a geological dig in southwestern North Dakota. I have an earlier edition which I use frequently and I knew he would like it.

Most roads are there
Unlike another review, all the pages were present and in order in the book I ordered. I've been planning a trip to the Theo. Roosevelt NP and the surrounding areas for landscape photography. While not in total agreement with what one finds on Google Earth, most of the roads and byways are there and in the correct location. As it is a wide open area with some serious road mileage between some locations, a reliable map is very valuable. All in all, I'd give this a 4 star rating. If a few of the missing campsites and roads were shown, I would have rated it a 5 star. I would recommend this atlas.

Why do I hate it? Why is it worth zero stars
Why do I hate it? Why is it worth zero stars? Because its missing pages and the numbering goes like this 9-24,17-24,41-48,41-64. Missing pages 25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40. The pages are not mis-numbered the pages are missing or duplicated. What fantastic quality control. My trip planning to the Maah Daah Hey Trail came to a grinding halt.
