Great for a body lift, expect a few alterations (not to the kit)
Everything went on great. Two holes in jeep frame (where body mounts fit in) had to be enlarged slightly but none of the other 9 did. Used a dremel but a file or even sandpaper may have worked well enough as it was just barely too small. Everything in the kit seems quality. I installed the transfer case linkage adapter too with not too much trouble. Biggest pain was that I had to trim my radiator shroud due to the bottom hoses not letting me adjust it to not hit the fan. To do this, the easiest way was to remove the shroud...so I had to remove the radiator fan to remove the shroud. Had to "borrow" a fan removal wrench from autoparts store. Once this was off, trimming radiator fan shroud was easy. Then the other PITA was my gas filler tube didnt reach the filler housing anymore by .5 inches. The hose had to be loosened so I could pull the filler neck out more, but my hose was old and stuck on. I just bought a new hose and removed the old one. Oh, and if you have rocker guards/ panels that use the old body mounts (which needed trimmed), you will have to trim your new body mounts in the same location. Not a problem at all, i used a good kitchen knife to cut the poly bushings down 3/16". So, as far as the kit goes, it was great. It was the other things that had to be adjusted/ altered that were the real pain. No fault of the kit, as it did exactly what it was said to do and the instructions warned of the other issues. Guess these things come with the territory when installing a body lift. Everything is good now, got 31's on with no rubbing. Looks great. I would highly recommend this kit for a 1" body lift over the ones that just add pucks. New bolts, new mounts, cant beat that.

Body Lift for Jeep TJ
The kit was complete and high quality Polyurethane. The hardware was exact and the directions were pretty good. One item to pay attention to was the fuel filler neck on the Jeep. Remove the four screws that hold the filler neck to the body before lifting the Jeep. You may have to loosen the hose clamps at the fuel neck and vent line and extend them for a proper fit. Really easy to do but I don't think that was stated in the directions. Overall, very happy with the kit and the price was the best as far as quality and completeness. I would recommend it.

Great kit, but DONT use the washers replace them with grade8
I got a 97 TJ about 2 months ago that needed some work. The previous owner had put a 3" RC suspension lift and a 3" RC body lift and anything over 1.5" on a Wrangler is dangerous so I had to replace it. Wanted a 1" as I'm doing a Tummy Tuck and 1" lift MM's as well and these came highly recommend. Just as others have said, the kit is great but the washers are JUNK. I wanted to be sure before I got Grade 8 replacement and check out the pic of how bad the washer cupped in and I didn't even get it torqued down to 35 ft lbs yet that was maybe 15-20. Other than that, kit seems to be great. Have yet to take it out on the road but install was easy.

Very easy to install and fairly straightforward instructions
I installed this kit on my 1999 Jeep Wrangler in about an hour. Very easy to install and fairly straightforward instructions. Just make sure you lay everything out first and look at the part numbers and compare them to the diagrams so you are sure you are using the right part for each mount. I did have to open up the holes on for the mounts on the sides of the body, but only by a 1/16th of an inch or so. I used a small rounded wrasp/file and less than 30 seconds of hand filing on each hole opened it up enough to fit the new mounts. Great kit.

Very Rough Ride from this Budget Body Lift
The lift kit was fairly easy to install. Not a fan of reusing the original mount "cup inserts" with the new mounts though. Consider a different kit like Crown Automotive's 55176180MK Body Mount Master Kit (see insert pic) if you need to replace your rusted inserts. Daystar's polyurethane mounts cause an extremely rough, bone-jarring ride. No more cushy soft rubber, factory mounts to absorb the road. For the money, this is still a good option.

Perfect Body Lift
Very cost effective, awesome body lift. Comes with everything you need to install the lift. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. It's not rocket science to put one of theses on but it's very helpful to have all the parts needed and good instructions. Daystar is a stand up company and I am happy with each of there products I purchase. Don't buy hockey pucks or aluminium spacers and end up reusing parts of the old body mounts. This kit is the way to go.

Good product
I put this on a 04 Rubicon as one of the steps for a tummy tuck skid plate. Went in easily so just follow the instructions. One side at a time and watch the fuel filler tube. A video on YouTube shows pulling the headlight to gain access to the rad-support bumper install but I did it with long reach pliers. Remember to recheck bolt tension after a few drives. Mine did loosen a little but checked 4 more times throughout the season and were good.

missing vital components. had to have daystar overnight the missing lift spacers.
the package arrived and i went to work on the jeep. I removed the original body mounts and opened the new box (that looked like it had been re-taped) to find out that i was missing 5 lower spacers and 1 radiator spacer mount upper and lower. my best guess is someone took what they needed and sold me the rest. A lift that should have taken 2 hours has now taken 3 days. very dissatisfied.
