I have one of these little gadgets that I've had for years and decided to pick up another one because a) they work really well to remove all that pesky stuff that grows out of your face and b) it's compact size and weightlessness make it perfect to take along when traveling. I got this one specifically for travel so I don't have to keep lugging my original around.I used this Facial Hair Remover as soon as I received it and it works exactly like my original. It's comfortable to hold and quickly and easily removes facial hair. I saw some reviews that said it did not last long. Hmmm.... If I were to guess, I would say I use the unit maybe once a week for a quick touch up on the little peach fuzz stuff so maybe daily use causes more wear and tear on the device and limits it's longevity??? I will monitor the usage on this and update the review if I have any issues.For now, I'm super happy with the unit and equally as happy with the price.

Battery was dead I had to replace with my own battery

This is the best. Bought it because I have extra chin hairs during pregnancy that are thick, dark, and stubborn. I use it every morning and it really does the job. Nice and small, doesn’t pull or hurt EVER. It could give a smoother shave but as I have super thick hair I’m not surprised, if you have thinner hair it would probably be smoother.

I made a small but important mistake - I didn’t unwrap the battery, and therefore the unit wouldn’t start!! But as soon as I unwrapped the battery, it worked like magic.
