It arrives flat in a box but don't be alarmed. It all comes out like it should. I love that I can cinch it down in the back and the Oklahoma wind cannot blow it off. Nice large brim to protect your face. Love it!

Great for outdoor activities

I love this hat. Wide brim and does a great job blocking the sun. I like that the material can be easily wiped off. I wish they would make a version that didn't have the floral print, but was just the same material as the top of the visor.

Love the hat but when I first opened the package the hat was impregnated with cigarret smoke, it took me a few days airing it out to get the smell out. I kept it because I really liked it and I needed it. I would not buy it again from the same company.

This is a well-made hat with a nice big brim to keep the sun off the face. The colorful underneath part of the bill is cute, and I ordered the baby blue. Love the velcro adjustment in the back rather than a cloth tie. What I most like is the tie that goes from either side of the hat to under your chin to hold the hat on your head on windy days! The chin tie is adjustable and removeable. You just cannot beat that! Many times it is windy and the big bill can make the hat go flying off your head. I have never had a tie-down come with a hat, so I am very pleased. Also a good price, and folds flat for packing. One warning: the hat is wrapped in plastic BUT comes "hidden" in flat cardboard that looks like packing, and if you have other items in the box you may think you never got the hat. Be careful of that! Highly recommend.

I read some of the negative reviews and I want to say this. The price is only $9 so the fabric is a little on the cheaper side, but that did not affect my comfort level. During a 2 hour walk, my head did not get hot at all. I love the longer brim which gives great shade. It is not totally huge so you don't look like a clown. My teen daughter liked the flower pattern under the bill (fashion points!). Also, the bill is stiff so it doesn't flop with the wind/breeze. Taking this to my vacation and camping trips soon! I got the baby blue and it's a very nice light blue shade. This is the BEST BARGAIN ever for sun hats! And i love that I can have a ponytail and sweep my hair off my neck while wearing a sun hat the shades the front and sides of my face.

I first purchased one of these hats in 2019 and just now got to the point where I wanted a replacement. It does a great job keeping the sun off my face while not being too hot or heavy in summer weather. The chin strap is great on windy days - my hat didn't budge when I had it on. I've even thrown it in the wash and line dried when it has gotten sweaty. This hat has been through it all - sun, sweat, sunscreen, pool water, saltwater, you name it - it never faded or broke down. A really great purchase for the price!

I think I have a really big head (approx 23", maybe more depending on where I measure. For this I measured same spot that this item sits) and this fits me...but barely. I have the velcro just barely attached together. I wish there was some built in stretch for added comfort and better fit- It leaves a line on my forehead for awhile after taking it off.Other than that, it is definitely a mega sized visor. Yes, bigger than a baseball cap visor. Think of it as a large brim hat in how that sticks out, and instead of it being all the way around, it is just front and sides (though less so on sides). You can sit in a high back chair, lay down, or sit in a car without it being knocked off like a large full hat would do.This is perfect for keeping out of the sun. It is kinda silly looking, yet also cute.. but who cares if you are looking to have greater protection. I typically use a regular slip on visor but was curious for a larger brim. This does a nice job shielding face from sun at front and sides. If the extra long brim is in the way, the material is flexible enough to where it can be turned up a little (see my pics). Again, silly.. but we're talking functionality here.I like the solid color with coordinating print under neath. The material is light, and it has a layer of mesh at top of head for air flow. The chin strap is optional- it has clips to attach it, or take it off. A tension pully allows you to tighten it against chin, or keep it loose.The velcro at back of head allows it to be adjusted. I personally could use more length. Velro bites at my hair as I take it off.There is a small elastic band in that area that I think it for keeping hat rolled up when tucked into a bag.Further, a sun hat is only good if you are actually wearing it when needed. So I love that the flexible material allows it to be rolled up tight and can be slipped into a purse without taking up barely any room. Some people carry umbrellas for when they need it, I would keep this on me in same way.I can wear it with hair down, or pulled back in a pony tail. I prefer look and feel of it with hair pulled back.I like it enough. I will give it more time to see if it holds up to sun and its ability to stay secure on my head.
