Great Mower Great Company
After some initial issues with a defective part, we have our new automated lawn mower up and running. It is wonderful! Nothing more relaxing that being able to do the stuff we enjoy doing like working in our gardens, than cutting the lawn. The mower is solid and very quiet; you will hear your neighbor's edge trimmer above this lawnmower. We experimented with various modes; the cross pattern and others, all work as advertised. We also noticed that even in the areas of our yard where we have some uneven terrain the mower mows great. As far as the setup, laying down the wireline is easy, so in terms of pricing this wired model is so much better priced than those that do not require wires. For us laying down the wire is well worth it considering the price difference. The app we loaded on our phones is easy to use and informative, it provides a visual representation of the grid area and the progress while the mower is mowing. We also like the tall grass mode! Lastly, as with all these new companies, customer service is always something to consider. As we stated at the start, we had an issue with a part and the customer service at ANTHBOT was outstanding, quick and caring response, quick resolution. Thanks Anthbot.

Great purchase!
I bought at the end of season so it’s only been working for me for about a month. My husband said only for the gated backyard. He had very low expectations.A month later, we bought a second one for the front yard.I programmed every-other day mowing and go as short as it can. It’s very short. The value for money is stellar. It looks much better than when the mowingservice was maintaining. It is a perfect pattern mow with only the sound of the blades swiping the blades.Set-up was NOT GOOD. There are 2 apps. I was trying to go off the wrong one, furthermore; I had some challenges with setting the lines is the grass correctly. I had to redo the whole backyard which was really frustrating. Regardless, one of my BEST purchases of the decade. My neighbors are very curious. It sells itself. My lawn now looks like a top-tier golf course.Go for it. You won’t regret it.

False Advertising! DO NOT BUY!
BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING!I received the product, it arrived fine and in good condition. I have a relatively flat .23 acre yard. I choose to bury the boundary wire, which took quite some time. I used a power edger, but found that I really needed to go back over it with a manual edger to get a good enough cut to bury the wire. This took around 6-8 hours. After burying the wire and following all instructions, I started the bot which at first goes across the full boundary line. It is EXTREMELY finicky as to the grade of the boundary path, it has to be within 15 degrees, which may seem like a lot but its stopped by a very small slope or even an extra bit of leaves. I spent about 4 days tearing up my yard on hands and knees with a level to make the path perfect so that it would complete the boundary circuit.FINALLY it completed the circuit, just to give me another error "The Boundary wire length or working area are overlimit" so I reduced the size, unearthing the boundary line and cutting off sections of my yard, then back to hands and knees to precisely level the path. I did this three times and still got the same error.2 weeks of work and it hasn't mowed an inch of grass. Customer support never answered me.If you have a very tiny yard, maybe it works, I wouldn't know. If you are anywhere near 1/5 of an acre, don't buy this, purchase another brand. The fact that they claim Max 180m wire is ridiculous, as i was closer to 130m and it still wont work.I will be returning this, hopefully they don't require the boundary wire back as I buried it. What a pain in the butt after 2 weeks trying to get this thing to work.

Anthbot Pion is Working Well
I've used my little mower twice now, and I'm happy with it. I didn't have any robot errors after my initial setup. While researching this mower I was concerned about the negative reviews from people who said they had to pull out their perimeter wire and redo it. I definitely didn't want to do that, so when installing the perimeter wire, I stuck with straight lines and 90 degree angles. I'll have to do some clean up around the edges of my yard, but I'm OK with that. Setting up the perimeter wire was a big job, but it's important to do it right. I also wanted the wire as close to the ground as I could get it, so it didn't get cut by the mower or other yard tools, so I put the pins in every one foot, instead of the suggested 2 1/2 feet (fyi - this didn't cause any problems with the robot). The Anthbot app is saying my mowing area measures 164m2, which is quite a bit under the recommended mowing area limit. There are three mowing patterns available: parallel (which mows parallel lines to the charging station), perpendicular (which mows perpendicular lines to the charging station), and Criss Cross (which will mow perpendicular then parallel lines). The criss cross pattern will take twice as long as either parallel or perpendicular, but it will give you the neatest cut, with hardly any "tufts"
