The Braun FaceSpa Face Epilator is easy to use and removes facial hair effectively, even very fine hairs. It leaves my skin smooth for much longer than shaving and is more precise than tweezing. It’s compact, gentle, and convenient to use at home. There is slight discomfort at first, but it’s manageable and improves with regular use. Overall, it’s a good product and I’m happy with the results.

I love this! I bought this after buying the Braun Silk-Epil 9 as I wanted something that could epilate my face more easily. The brush and toning attachments were an added bonus but they are worth it! EFFECTIVENESS - It is very effective! My face is super smooth! I use this once per month and my routine is cleanse as normal, epilate, re-cleanse using the brush (to prevent folliculitus from epilation), apply serum and moisturiser, use toning attachment. I find that it's best to use when I'm not going out anywhere as the redness can last a while (a few hours) and it's best to avoid applying makeup the day you do it as this can lead to breakouts. The design of this makes it so so easy to epilate fiddly areas and really quick too. Be careful around your eyebrows though...I would only use this between my brows but not above or below as you are likely to lose an eyebrow! The brush is great for gently but thoroughly cleansing and the toning attachment is lovely and cooling and helps your moisturiser sink in better. COST - It is pricey but worth it in the long run...it will pay for itself in under a year since I no longer need beauty salon appointments. Also, it's worth paying more for the rechargeable one rather than the cheaper one with disposable batteries. The battery life on this is amazing. SIDE EFFECTS? - It is a little painful (same as threading), especially the top lip area, but the pain is less over time. Redness can be severe initially (use this while your boyfriend is out lol) but does go down fairly fast. I do breakout a little afterwards (I am very breakout prone though), but I have found that cleansing before and after epilating, as well as regular (2-3 times a week) exfoliation with salicylic acid serum helps a lot. Also, avoiding makeup or clogging products the day you do it is a good idea. Try to use gentle products and if your skin can tolerate aloe Vera gel, that is the best thing to use. OVERALL - I highly recommend this face spa, it works very well, is lovely to use and because of the extras it feels like a facial at home.

Well I recently tried a Braun epilator on my legs and was so impressed I purchased this Braun FaceSpa epilator too yesterday. It was more than I initially wanted to spend, having seen the battery version on offer, but having read so many positive reviews on this rechargeable one I decided to bite the bullet. And I’m glad I did. It is a little marvel. I’m actually sitting here today with a hair free top lip, never have I been brave enough to wax it, plucking is hell, bleaching has been my choice for years, as shaving was a big no no on my face. So, after charging it up for an hour, I tried it and yes it does ping a bit on the top lip but I persevered and it was quick and hardly any redness either. Why didn’t I do this sooner is my only thought now. It’s easy (I’m an absolute epilator newbie and now I have hair free legs and face thanks to my new Braun ‘friends’). If you haven’t tried one, try it, I was expecting lots of pain and honestly it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I’ve gone around my chin too and between my brows, all pretty pain free. I also washed my face using the soft pink brush with a cleanser, rinsed, oh my, my skin looked so clean, then used the toning head to apply my serum moisturiser to my skin, it even lets you know when to move it along. So clever. Each head is detected by the pen to work differently to the epilator. Honestly, I wish I’d bought one years ago, I’m 60 now and it would have saved me years of embarrassment, especially when dating again. It’s not like shaving, hair grows back softer, finer. I whole heartedly recommend it to you, it’s quick and easy to use. Just use it going against the growth of the hair.

Braun FaceSpa Pro 912 I bought this on black Friday sale for around £65, which was a discounted price. I have been using braun epilators for about 20 years now and they have been excellent. And I am a big fan and advocator of it because I find them genuinely excellent with their products. In this Braun FaceSpa Pro 912, the main feature is the facial epilator, along with it you get a facial cleansing brush and a Microvibration head (for better facial cream, serum applicator). pros: - it has a small head and its useful for reaching the moustache area and around the eyebrows. - used it twice now and the battery life is good. - the epilator goes in 2 directions, which is very helpful when you’re trying to epilate. The central button determines the direction. With one click it does 1 direction, and then when you click again it goes the opposite direction. This is helpful when you’re epilating the left side of the area and then the right side of the face. cons: - the battery operated facial spa costs around £ 30. I am not sure if its justified to be more than double the cost, just because the same product is mains operated. This is the biggest con for it. And I would understand other buyers reservation in buying this product because of it. - the microvibration head appears to be a little gimmicky and I am not sure whether it helps put cream on better or soak into the skin better. I have only used it once. I do not see myself using it more frequently. - I already own a facial cleansing brush from Remington, so this part was of the Face spa was of little use to me, however others might find it useful. Update September 2020: I've owned this face epilator for about 9 months now. And I have changed the rating from 3 stars to 4 stars. It is definitely gentler on the face than using the Braun epilator with the facial attachment on it. If you've never used an epilator then I don't recommend trying the face first (you should probably try a small part of the leg with a normal epilator first and see how you feel first). Also if you know that your pain threshold is low then I don't recommend this either. This one gets rid of softer hairs that is normally found on the face. The battery life is pretty good for each charge. I normally use it about 8-10 times before it needs up go on the charge again. But then I don't spend that much time on the face as I would on the legs. All in all in very happy with it. Just the price still seems a little steep for what it is, hence I've kept it at 4 stars.

I wasn’t sure I believed this would work but my goodness it really does. It isn’t for the faint hearted but if you’re looking for an effective epilator that catches both fine and thicker hair with ease then this is the product for you. I’m so impressed and love the cleansing brush and massager too.

Update: After 2 wks of using it, needed to return due to battery issue. I mainly bought this to replace multiple devices I use every day (face epi, electric facial cleanser and massager). What I like about this product: - the battery life is decent enough. From a full charge, I used it for approximately at least 2 a day for 10 days before the battery ran off. - the epil works great. It truly pulls out even the shortest hair - the facial massager is really relaxing. I use it with argan oil. - it comes with a nice travel bag. What I do not like about it: - the plug is not for the UK - the facial brush is not for good the skin. It's bristles are tough. It made my skin very dry even if I use it just once a day. Really harsh on the skin. Comparing it from my China brand electric facial cleanser, this one really sucks! The China brand I have is even gentle on the eye area so I really don't understand how Braun can't make it better! It claimed it's for sensitive skin but it's not 😞 needed to use my China brand again after 3 days of using the facial brush. - too expensive - it would have been better if there's an indicator when the battery is low so I don't have to guess if it's damaged or just needs to be charged. I expected more especially from this well-known brand unfortunately, it disappointed me AGAIN.

Good product

I’ve had this for a little while and wanted to see how I got along with it before reviewing it. It’s an attractive looking item that’s neat and classy looking. Apart from the main unit you get the epilating head, the tapping head for applying creams, and the cleansing brush. It also come with the charging cord you need a razor plug as this has a 2 pin plug, plus a bag to store it in, there’s also a circular stand to store this on your dressing table etc . I charged it up and I’ve used it each morning to put eye cream and then moisturiser on. I’ve found it’s great using it around the eyes it taps in the eye product very well, but I’ve also noticed it seems to reduce any puffiness as well. It’s nice to be able to time how long to use it on each eye or any part of your face as it works in 20 second bursts with a very short pause between each 20 seconds. There are 2 speeds I have mine on the fastest tapping constantly. The epilating head is useful for those stray hairs on the face especially between the eyebrows. I’ve not used the cleansing brush as I have a separate item for that. The charge is still going strong now a week in. Overall I like this, but I think it’s overpriced for what it is IMO.
