Simple, easy and it works! This product is designed to stop children from opening refrigerator doors. I'm using it for a different reason. One of my cats likes to jump up on top of the refrigerator and twice has managed to open the freezer door a few inches. Both times were in the middle of the night and I had to toss out everything that was in the freezer. You can also disable the lock and just open the door normally .

Great product so far. Easy installation and nice adhesive. Secures the doors closed so you no longer have to worry about a bad seal.

Bought these fridge locks, not to lock the fridge for the kids, but to make sure the doors stay closed. Using the locks in our garage refrigerator and sometimes the door would stay open, so with these locks we haven't had any issues, when you close the door at clicks and locks and you know its good.If there's any issues, I'll update the review.

I have a chest freezer with a door that doesn’t close all the way, so I have to put something heavy on top, like a gallon of laundry detergent. It’s not always so convenient to move that gallon jug around when I need to get something out of the freezer, so when I saw these, I wanted to see if they could help keep my freezer closed.These locks come in 2 pairs, so I placed one on each side of my freezer. Installation was a breeze and self-explanatory. 3M tape is very strong, so usually you just have once chance at getting it right, but the way the locks are designed, it doesn’t let you mess up, unless you put them on backwards. The top section has a lip that lines up with the edge of the door, so it goes on first. The lock piece is self-aligning and all I had to was to slide it into the top piece and it sticks to the bottom part of my freezer. An ingenious design.Opening the locks are very easy for the average adult. Two fingers on each latch, and it releases. I can see where small children will have problems with it, which is really what this was designed for. For my needs, it works great as well. My freezer door now stays closed, and I can take my laundry detergent back to the laundry room where it belongs. I also have the added bonus of a child-safety lock on my freezer.

My grandson doesn't like them (he's 2) but I sure do! Well made and does the job!

First issue: my fridge door is slightly wider than the fridge, so the latch doesn't align properly. There's no adjustment available to make that work, so my adjustment is to slip cardboard in to wedge it open.Even when it works, it requires 2 fingers on opposite sides of the latch to operate. That means when I have my hands full of food I have to set something down to open it. Not ideal.

I use this to make sure my freezer door stays closed in the garage and doesn't accidentally bump open.
