These recaps are simply so well-written and offer summaries that help define and better understand sections of the Bible. After reading Bible chapters these recaps help cement what I just read in common language.

This is exactly what I was looking for! It’s been a struggle for me to find Bible study books for myself and for my children because they’re often times filled with the author’s opinions instead of acting as a guide and letting the Bible do the teaching. The author of this book does it the right way. The Bible reading is broken down into manageable chunks of about 2-3 chapters at a time, which is great for us. My kids and I look forward to our Bible time together during our homeschool day and this book has been a big help! I’m39 and I’m finally reading through the whole Bible for the first time (and I get to experience it with my kids)!

This book is so helpful for kids and great for family devotions. There are so many tough passages in the Bible to explain to children, but this book breaks down the themes in ways that are appropriate for kids and also helps them learn what the Bible says about who God is. My kids are 12, 10, 8, 6, 3, and 10 months and the oldest 4 can follow along easily. I really recommend!

Love this book for kids to go on their own journey through the Word or travel along with a parent or other older loved one.

Great summaries for kids.

I got this as a companion to the adult Bible Recap. As I go through it, my littles can go through theirs. It uses simpler words and tones down some of the more serious topics that we can explore as they get older. I love how it helps them look for God in the scriptures rather than self. We get to see how Christ is woven throughout the Bible from the very beginning!
