Works well, nice performance
Installed this to extend a LAN to a second building that didn't have a fiber-equipped router. Works fine, gives full gigabit performance, and PoE power makes installation easy, don't need any additional power source. It's just plug and play, no configuration or anything necessary.

Incredible speeds
I got this fiber converter to run fiber between my house and garage. This was perfect for what I needed as it is small and compact and fits perfectly into my networking space. I really like how easy this device was to setup for my home network. The only thing I didn't like about the box is that it isn't wall or rack mountable. I do like that it has dip switches to configure different options. It's so really nice that this device has status lights which helps me know if it is working correctly.

Works great
High quality material and very fast speed. Has a high quality c7 or c8 speed. For the price it is very comparable to other cables. Overall works great.

Works as advertised
I have security cameras in my yard that were being fed with power over Ethernet (POE) over buried Cat6 cable. We had a major storm that caused a power outage and a subsequent lightning strike. I suspect that the lightning strike caused the switch that was powering the cameras to fail. To be safe, I decided to switch to fiber, and this converter seems to do the trick. I can't say for certain that the lightning strike caused the switch to fail, but I feel better using fiber and leaving the POE near the cameras instead.
