I do a lot of paint by number canvass’s. This is a favorite for sure!The paint pots were fresh— creamy paints. That makes a huge difference!I did do a lot more detail work, especially the ocean.That’s the beauty of PBN — you can add more detail or color or blend colors if you want to try your artistic skills. Or, simply paint it as is.Some of the numbers on the canvas are tiny. But that is how it is with all PBN. Also, the paint is thin so the whites and theLight colors need double coats of paint.The paint colors are true to the photo. I had plenty of paint left over. And, I lay the paint on Thick!I was completely frustrated with the easel that came with the kit. I didn’t use it and it does go together. Although you must study the pic like a detective. It’s flimsy.I’m really happy with this project and love looking at my art work.I will order again.PS I recommend buying the framed canvas— one less headache in your world and worth the extra money.Enjoy. Love this paint by number, very easy to follow and beautiful.

Just as advertised, it is perfect and the person I gifted it to thinks it is beautiful.

The net result of this is just beautiful, but the canvas folds are hard to fix, even after steaming and an initial layer of clear gesso before beginning. Some spots were not clearly labeled by number, and the detail is pretty good based on the image it’s based on, but certainly not exact. I found the paint quality to be excellent and not overly transparent after double layering in some spots.I find the end result to be frame worthy and will definitely purchase another!

This is a very detailed print. It was useful to use a magnifier to denote the paint number. I just wish the print would come in a 16x20 instead of the square 23x23.

I enjoyed the vibrant colors of this set but the coverage left a little to be desired. I gave up on the light colors. The numbers and lines were nearly impossible to cover. I more than likely will not by this brand again.

The areas are so small, you will need a magnifying glass and a very steady hand!It came on a frameless piece of canvas, so that will make painting even more difficult, rather than a stretched framed canvas.Thankfully it's very inexpensive - so I'll pass it on to Goodwill to see if anyone else might be interested.Very pretty photo though!
