Worth it especially if you’re in a jam
I wish the price was lower, but was willing to pay it because I couldn’t find black frosting. The quality and how it spreads it great too

Wordy Frosting I have ever tasted and Waste of Money
I order this to make my daughter’s birthday cake. I thought it was taste good because of all the reviews. Well, it was horrible. The frosting has an awful taste. It tastes like they put too many chemicals in it. What an awful after taste. Now I’m going to have to make my own which I was hoping to avoid. The canned frosting from the stores tastes 100% better than this crap. I am so disappointed. This company needs to rethink how they make their frosting. Do not purchase thing. It’s also very expensive.

Smooth, Rich, and Delicious”
This buttercream has a smooth, creamy texture and a rich, well-balanced flavor. It’s easy to spread and perfect for cakes and cupcakes. Highly recommended!”

Good But...
It was okay for what I needed to do, but I won't order it again. I appreciate the fact that it came with recipes for enhancing the flavor and/or stretching the amount of frosting. Straight out of the container, the white had a weird bitter aftertaste. If it were colored frosting I would think that that was the food coloring, but for white frosting I don't know where that taste came from. That said, when I followed your instructions for the "homemade flavor" recipe it tasted much better. It also gave me enough frosting to cover all of my cupcakes with a little bit left over. However, if I've got to do that much work to make it edible, I may as well just make my own buttercream which is what I will do in the future.

Mixed reception at home
Was not a big fan of the flavor, tasted a bit plastic-y to me. My wife liked it though. Also, it turns your tongue and teeth black, though I would expect that from black frosting, just be warned. It was used as part of a Mickey mouse cake and it came out well. Good frosting if you are looking to make pictutor patterns on the cake.

Sorry, but I don't recommend this.
I should have read the reviews better. Dolly Parton buttercream is better than this and $2. Also, I have no idea what you're using as the shortening, but I'm guessing that's where the plastic taste is coming from. In order to save my dish, as I didn't make sure I had all the stuff to make buttercream on hand for Christmas, I added like 2/3rds of a jar of honey peanut butter and it still faintly tastes like plastic. Thankfully peanut butter frosting works for what I was making, but wicked disappointed I paid $15+ for this and it turned out this terrible. I had to add cream to it to get it the spreadable I wanted, and it was sealed fine when it showed up and until I opened it to use it so like, there's no way it could have been like an external situation making it taste weird.
