Pecking Order Brooder Pads for Chicks (25 Pack)

These brooder pads are thinner than I thought they would be and the paper on the underside is krinkly and noisy so my skittish hens don’t like them. I’ll still use them for my baby chicks in the brooder as they are easy to roll up and throw away after cleaning up after my chicks.

Great for chicks. I lined a huge box with these and then threw shavings over them. So easy to remove dirty flakes and reapply. These have paper under straw so protects bottom of box only had to replace if water spilled. 3 weeks in with chicks and working very well!

Good product. It is think but we use it often so it is economical.

A little thin but a great way to keep your brooder area clean. Great price.

This item is non returnable! Think before you buy! If I could give this zero stars I would. This product is cheap and absolutely unusable. The paper backing is thin and the material is attached with something water soluble. It came off the backing in less than two minutes after putting in the brooder box. It looked like long strands of hard spaghetti. I immediately removed it as I felt it could be a danger to my chicks. Even Amazon didn’t want me to return the unusable product. I ended up putting in my compost bin.

Unfortunately, I thought these would be very easy to use and keep the coop cleaner. However, we have three ducks so to be fair I would not try it with doc's. It might work fine with chickens, but it did not work for me with my chickens and ducks
