Very Very Pleased with this Smoke/CO Alarm system!!!!
I recently replaced all of my First Alert Wired Smoke/CO detectors after they went off in the middle of the night for no reason. I did a significant amount of research online checking reviews and using AI to find detectors that are reliable, very low incidence of false alarms, easy to install and very functional. ChatGPT recommended this product. It was definitely easy to install and it has excellent features. One is you can control the alarms through an their app. In the event of a false alarm, you can shut all the alarms off via a button on the base station or through the app. I greatly appreciated this since I had to wait about 10 minutes with a blaring alarm with the First Alerts until they finaly shut off.Another great feature is the voice notification in the alarms is excellent. It is very clear and should an alarm go off you will clearly know where the issue is in your home and what the issue is as well. I had not idea what the First Alert alarms were telling me when they went off.If you are away from home, the app will notify you if there is an issue - fire, smoke, CO, at your home. Also, you can have your system set up where it will automatically contact the Fire department should a problem arise, given you approve the call.I also appreciate that the system comes with a 5 year battery and did I mention that this system is one of the least expensive on Amazon, yet is built well and appears to be very high quality.I did notice one 1 star review where the purchased indicated that they were not UL Certified and that his insurance company would not approve them. I contacted my insurance company, Allstate, and told them about these alarms. They said they only need to meet UL standards, they don't need to be certified. These definitely meet UL Standards and I've included a photo which I've also shared with Allstate for their records.

Fantastic replacement to my old discontinued system.
I bought these to replace my Nest Protect system that was End of Life by Google. I'm VERY happy with the swap. These smoke/CO detectors were incredibly easy to install and get hooked up. Mounting them was very easy; the box contains all the hardware necessary and since they are battery powered, I can stick them just about anywhere. There are a few short comings compared to my old system, but there are also a number of pluses.1.) The design is a bit basic on these. Not a big deal. They are not meant to be eye catching, but what I miss is the path light feature. Having that little bit of illumination in the hallway at night was very nice. I hope they add that to a future version of this.2.) The voice is VERY loud and setup involved dealing with extremely loud beeps close up. I had to put ear plugs in to avoid the close proximity beeping blast. Good for safety, bad for setup. I wish there was a "setup volume" that was a bit gentler.3.) The price is about 1/3 of competition smart detectors. This is a huge plus in my book because it brings smart alerts to more people who might not have been able to afford the competition. And critical alerts when you're not at home might make all the difference if a fire breaks out.4.) This system uses a hub. That's a plus for me since I don't have 6 devices clogging my wifi. A lot of people don't like hubs, because it's one more thing to power, but I appreciate the dedicated mesh network these build for the extra reliability (wifi isn't always a strong signal which can make smart detectors less reliable).5.) The combo of CO and smoke detection in one unit is great piece of mind and I have to buy fewer devices.6.) Less important to most people... these integrated VERY nicely with my smart home system via home bridge. Again, this is for tech minded people. It's not an out of the box feature. Maybe someday, they will add Matter to these and it'll be a non-issue.

Easy to setup, full function, solid build and good price.
Great product. I wanted a combination smoke and CO detector. I wanted a smart and interconnected system as we have vaulted ceilings so replacing a chirping battery is a major event. I looked at Kidde and First Alert products and their reviews were mediocre at best with consistent complaints about false alarms. X-sense seemed to fit the bill but I was a little concerned about the made in China quality and lack of UL certification. I bought a set and ran my own test to ensure the sensitivity, time to alarm and inter-connectivity all worked. Physical build quality is top notch. Solid devices. Very low profile. The LED readout is of minimal value to me given the height of installation. Unless the device is eye level, I can’t see it being useful for anyone. I tested both smoke and CO sensitivity and all worked as listed in their docs. The networking capability was very easy to setup and also worked as listed. The app is well laid out and works great. Silencing ALL alarms from the app worked like a charm (without needing to get a ladder and push a button). The app also indicates the network and battery status of each device. I’ve had them installed for almost 6 weeks now and haven’t had a single false alarm.

Started to get false alarms recently ...
Generally pleased with the system. However, one of the detectors just started giving false alarms after 1 year in service. So I am working through that issue with their support folks who so far have been responsive.Easy to set upApp is pretty good.Integration with other types of sensors is good. Not sure how long the batteries will last - and wondering about durability/reliability. Never had issues with my old detectors with false alarms.
