Priced Well Works Great.
I need to replace my old Nest protect after 10 years, another great product, but the price was just too much for me to replace with a new one. I saw the XSeries and after reading other reviews bought this one. Really impressed, and for the price it came with 3 co2 smoke combos. Really easy to set up. The app walks you through it. The only issue I had with set up was when pairing the unit to the base, I used the app instructions set the location and proceeded, but when I got to the pairing it asked me for location again, and I had to go back, not a big deal. Beyond that it was super easy to set up and connect all the units. I even bought the smoke only dectors to go with this, they also paired very easily. Also installing is a breeze, just use a big enough drill bit for the holes if you need the plastic fastiners that come with the screws. If you need a new Co2 smoke combo highly recommend this one.

Stop looking. This is the one you want.
I spent some time trying to figure out what the heck to buy. I was repainting the living room wall and while I was up on scaffolding thought it might be a good time to switch out the now weird mustard colored circle on the wall. I wanted one that I didn’t have to wave a towel in front of when cooking bacon, so after way too many hours researching I ended at this one. It can be disabled from the app or from the base unit. Base unit is much smaller than what I expected at about 3” square which was nice. I only needed 2, but bought the 3 pack to have an extra that I can misplace in the garage. Installed the app and both alarms within about 10 mins including time for my fat a$$ to get up in the scaffolding. They are modern looking and remind me of a mini white version of my shark robot vacuum. I am a little jealous of anyone that can read the digital display. Even on normal ceiling heights it’s seems too small to see, but it’s all in the app. Well with it and I’d recommend to anyone spending too much time researching.

Amazing Value! Feels like having a professional fire alarm system in your home.
My 12+ year-old Kidd alarms that were installed before I purchased my home started chirping in the middle of the night, two of them for two nights in a row! I was going to replace them with Kidds again, but I nearly spent more money for those alarms with fewer features than the X-Sense. I just got the X-Sense delivered and installed today. The build quality and appearance are great. It was extremely easy to set up the base station and the alarms, connect them in the app, and test them. It was also easy to install. I especially love the voice feature that announces the location of the alarm. Since my house has a natural gas furnace, water heater, and oven, I’m especially glad to add CO2 alarms to my home. I’m very pleased and I hope the battery life and reliability is as good as everything else.

Seems like the best option at this time to replace expiring Nest detectors
We've got Nest detectors (which have been great but expensive) and they are at the end of their 10 year life. Since Google has discontinued these devices, finding a replacement that has similar functionality has been somewhat of a challenge. While the overall quality is a step below that of the Nests, these so far have been a good replacement with a much stronger set of choices (heat detector for the garage especially) and the set cost less than a single Nest detector.

Easy to setup
I purchased these to replace my now-expired Nest smoke detectors. I was looking for a more affordable solution to install in multiple rooms of my house without sacrificing the functionality of more expensive models. I chose this model from X-Sense because of the voice alerts and app control. The app is very user-friendly and responsive, and setup was a breeze. I also like the idea of having my smart home products integrated into one app, and X-Sense seems to offer many other compatible devices I’d consider adding. The only feature I miss from my previous smart smoke detector is the motion-activated night light that illuminated the hallway. This model doesn’t have that, but it’s not a deal-breaker for me.

Great alarm, great app that works with their water sensors too
I'm a huge fan of X-Sense and their products. The fact they make an integrated alarm system that works with their water detectors is awesome. These are handsome, high tech units, loud and effective. I had one go off when the fire in my wood stove was smoldering and the carbon dioxide spiked. Of course it was in the middle of the night so it scared me half to death, but I grabbed my phone, ran down to check the wood stove and everything was fine. It's a little too sensitive to be too close to a wood stove, but between the alarm on the unit and in the app on my phone, I was awake immediately!Honestly, if you're in the market, X-Sense water leak detectors, which I have all over the house (they've alerted me to a few leaks too!) combined with these smoke detectors is a fairly lost cost solution to monitoring conditions that can be life threatening or can cause a lot of damage and expense. I'm not paid by them in any way, I just think they are good products that do what they say. The batteries in their water sensors absolutely last forever.

Great for safety
These were easy to install, sync, and use with ur phone. The value was great. Your phone notifies you if there is an alarm going off or low batteries. This is very easy to test. The alarm is loud enough tonhear on each level of the house. And since i have installed them there have been no drain on battery life.

Great product. I'll never go back.
These are great. Very easy to set up and pair and link to the app. I get notices on my phone if there is anything to report, such as if an alarm goes off or if one of them goes offline. If there is ever smoke or CO2 detected, all of the alarms will go off and I'll receive a notice telling me the original location of the detection (such as the third bedroom on the second floor, the garage, etc.) Pretty awesome! Knowing that I'll get a notification of what is going on at my house is very reassuring and now seems so much more useful than simply a loud noise designed to wake me up in the middle of the night. I want to know if my house is on fire no matter where I am and what I'm doing, not only when I'm in the house.
