When these arrived I took everything out to be sure it was all there.I had extra brackets which were for different years but the installation was straight forward and took about 45 minutes and that was by myself and moving slow. (old man).If you had a helper to help hold up the bars it would be much faster. The body bolts came out easy enough and the ones in the package fit perfect.For the price these are as good as the ones on new trucks. I am going to keep a good coat of wax on as they suggest since it will definitely get stoned on the back roads and I live in Michigan so the salt will eat it quick otherwise.The only complaint is the instructions were written and printed quick and without a lot of thought. Still you get the gist of it and if you bought these to install yourself you already have some mechanical knowledge so there is nothing here that should throw you.Basically they mount to the same locations as your body mount bolts with an additional side support.The bolts that drop into your body fit exact so there is a bit of finesse that is needed for that but they 'will' fit.The bolts that tighten the running boards to the bracket seem like you could crush them if you over tighten them so I will wait a week and retighten everything again.

The product is fine - no problems there. They look great, are reasonably sturdy and my wife loves them. They fit my truck perfectly... Eventually.I am an avid DIY person and have a fully appointed workshop. I can usually assemble/fix just about anything without instructions.The TAC installation instructions set new lows for the most awful instructions ever. I got the impression that someone at TAC's brother in law gen'd them up in Microsoft Word. I've see Chinese equipment assembly installation instructions that were 10 times better than these.There is a text list of part names, but nowhere does it show a picture of each part or even a CAD drawing of the part shape. This is a problem because there are a couple sets of parts that are used for other truck body styles that you don't need. Figuring out which one is actually needed on your truck is... Interesting. I don't speak TACish, so trying to figure out which parts fit my truck was not fun. The assembly process is basically trial and error.But wait... There are some photos of the installation on the last couple pages of their manual. That should help, right?Nope.The photos look like 4th generation photocopy-of-a-photocopy-of-a-photocopy... Blurry, dark (as in black-and-white) and does not even depict the parts that were in the box. I guess they ship the same photos for all of their side-step models.Then they got clever with artsy photo overlays that cover the details of the thing you actually need to see in the background.YouTube wasn't much help. There were no movies for my Dodge Ram year and model, so they weren't much better than the blurry-blob photos.That said, once you figure out which part and part-orientation is necessary to finish one side of your truck, the other side goes pretty fast.

Great fix and were perfect looking once installed

The brackets are 1/4" steel so very durable product! Good quality! I'm generally hard to please but this product does just that! I'm happy!

I had a shop install them. The old ones rusted away and these will too in about 15 years.

wish it came with the screws but that is wishful thinking
