Nice monitor
Only had it a week, but this monitor seems to be well worth it. A good combination of size, resolution and color at a great price.

Initial impressions: 8/10 but 5 stars for my usecase
I have a 29" desk to standing desk converter. I didn't like my dual screen setup, so I shopped around for a few months to find a ultrawisde unit that was under $250. I had a few criteria:1080p120 Hz3000 contrast ratio minimumThis monitor popped up on my eBay and Newegg recommended lists. I purchased it from Amazon because they have a solid return policy, but the price difference between sites was minimal.Packaging: Thick foam to protect the monitor. Unless excessively rough handling, this monitor would get to your door undamaged. Came with setup instructions, screws and a screwdriver, as well as a DP 1.2 cable.Setup/Initial Impressions: Literally 5 minutes and it was on and rocking. I have an AMD graphics card so I enabled Freesync from the monitor menu and switched to 120Hz refresh rate in Windows. The panel itself had no dead pixels. The colors out of the box we're washed out, yes. But after less than 10 minutes of fiddling with the settings and I found a comfortable color level that gets rid of that washed out feeling. I had to turn down the brightness too, seared my damn eyes off the bat.Why 5 stars then if it isn't perfect? Because it offers a good amount of value for the price. You will not be disappointed if you want a great productivity monitor. Gaming on this guy is wonderful, a vast improvement over my old 22" 60Hz monitor. It looks so clean and minimal as well, should fit nearly any room aesthetic. For $225, feel confident in your buy.I'll keep this review updated if issues arise and how Viotek handles it.

Great entry level ultrawide!!
This review is for the 30" GNV30CB model. What's good:- The price! This is priced just right at $219. Excellent value for what you get.- no dead pixels- 30" is actually pretty big when you sit in front of it.- 144hz display (must use display port connection)- display port cable included in box- freesync works with nvidia graphics card 10 to 20 series (must enable in monitor and in nvidia control panel)- nice vibrant and saturated colors even if it's not the most accurate- nice VA panel with good viewing angles with very little light bleed- ghosting is minimal. I don't notice it at all in games- anti glare coating on the screen works great- durable metal stand with red accents- tilt viewing angles- CURVED!!!!! 1800rWhats bad:- Not RGB lights on the back. Promo video is misleading. They are red LED lights and only red. You can turn it off if you don't like it. I wish we could pick the color.- lack of height adjustment in the stand. This is my biggest complaint. Easily correctable using included vesa mounting plate. I just don't want to buy the mount.- That's really it. I have a hard time finding things to complain about on this.I almost passed on this monitor because of the negative things people said about it here. I'm glad I tried it for myself. This monitor is the perfect fit for my current set up. Games look absolutely fantastic on this thing. Very smooth and I have not seen a single tear. Will update this review if this don't hold up the test of time.My system specs:Intel 4690k Overclocked at 4.6ghz16GB DDR3nvidia 1060 6GB

Great Size and Brightness - Dead Pixel & Non-functional Speakers
Pixel Density- looks good, not a retina display but resolves small text fairly well. Came with one dead pixel, which you can only really notice when the screen is all one color.Brightness- great, I use the monitor in a sunny room and I never have troubleMatte finish- the finish on the monitor diffuses glare, so you never have to stare through reflections.Speakers- don't work. I don't know if this model has the actual hardware for sound output. There are settings for it, but it may be software that is only applicable to other models. . Tried all the tricks- enabling in monitor settings, enabling in computer settings, different data cables... speakers are broken. I don't mind because I use a headset for work calls, but when I'm not using headphones I have to use my computer speakers.Size- Awesome! I was going to get two monitors, but the size is great- plenty of screen real estate to spread outAll in all its a great monitor. I took off a star for the dead pixel and the non-working speakers. I purchased for around $280 which is pretty good for a 34 inch monitor. I would recommend.

30" model is 120hz, 144hz looks like crap
overall im in love with this monitor, but they shouldnt advertize 144hz, it looks way WORSE than 120hz, but that means nothing to me, i think 144hz is way past diminishing returnscolors are just fine, brightness is meh, but fine, the curve is just perfect, the size is way better than i expected, definitely miles better than the previous 27" 1080p panel, there's soo much more room to do stuff, games at 120hz look absolutely gorgeous, the buttons are a pain to use, and it has red lights on the back that you may or may not like, glare is not a problem, but i prefer glossy screens, i wish monitors had that option, your typical imac will sweep the floor with this thing in color/brightness and even perceived black levels because of thathonestly thats my biggest gripe with it, and it will be the same with 99% of monitors out there, im sick & tired of every damn monitor having that AH3 antiglare mud coat killing picture quality, i mean, arent we all using this thing on some underground man cave anyway? who is putting this on a bright office full of windows?im really tempted to get the 34" 1440p model and if it had a glossy panel option i would buy it within a second
