Perfect choice for my parakeet.
ZuPreem Natural Bird pellets are amazing. I recently brought home a juvenile parakeet and she is eating these pellets great. I love the fact that they are all the same color, minimizing the chance of selective feeding. The pellets are the perfect size for my baby.

Highly Recommend
My bird loves it and she is 18 years old and a very picky. It appears to be good quality and very fresh when you receive it. It is very easy to get her to eat it which makes me happy. I have been trying to find more food she would eat with better nutrient and this has all bases covered. I highly recommend this for others with picky eaters.

Tasty Pelleted Diet for Cocktiels and Other Small Birds
My cockatiel can be quite a picky eater. I admit, this is not his favorite food (that would be seeds or those fruit flavored pellets), but a cockatiel cannot live by treats alone, and pellets are a good option for his dietary needs. The Zupreem Natural Small Bird Food was well received by Feathered Alarm System. These are pretty much the same as the fruity version that he loves, but has less sugar, flavoring, and coloring. These pellets are definitely healthier than an all seed diet, and the waste caused by seed throwing has dropped significantly - any pellet that is dropped will later be picked up by my bird and eaten. The pellets are easy for FAS to "crack" and swallow, or swallow whole, and he didn't snub them since these are the same size as his fruity Zupreem food. I like mixing the two types of pellets together along with a few seeds to give my bird a good amount of variety. As always, he also gets plenty of fresh vegetables to eat anytime. The food comes sealed in a Ziploc type bag, however if you want to keep the food very fresh for a long time, you can put it in a large jar and keep it in the fridge. Overall, this is a great food if you're looking to keep your bird happy and healthy. I will definitely be purchasing this again in the future.

My bird is warming up to Zupreem slowly.
I've been buying Harrison's bird food for my green cheek conure which he loves, but I was trying to offer a variety of pellets as well as have an alternative food in case I can't get a shipment of Harrison's in on time. I went with Zupreem Natural because I hear it offers good nutrition as well as no artificial food coloring. I suggest this size over the "cockatiel" sized pellets for a green cheek conure or similar sized bird. The cockatiel size fits in his beak, but I think it's just a little bigger than what he's used to. I think these pellets are also harder than he's used to because when he goes to eat them, they tend to explode when pressure is applied and most of them end up on my carpet or back in the food bowl. After two weeks of various techniques, my bird made it quite clear that he prefers his Harrison's over this stuff. He'll pick the Zupreem up but it will be THE last thing he tries to eat. My review stems more from the fact that my bird isn't too crazy about them and how hard they are for him to eat. I think overall this is a decent product if you can get your bird to eat them. Update: A year later I am trying this again. I've spent more time converting my bird over slowly to this pellet. He's taking to it more this time around. Eventually I do hope to convert him over completely to Zupreem! He's a little older now and more experienced in eating different types of food. I think this is also helping with the fact that it's harder for him to break down. I will come back after a few months have past and post how he's doing on Zupreem.

Mana from Heaven!
I have haphazardly been introducing a variety of pellet foods to my flock of five rescue parrots for several years and to no avail. From my cockatiels to my sun conure to my African grey they all turn their beaks up at the thought of anything but a seed mix. My "Bougee birds" seemed to be winning the game until I introduced them to the ZuPreem Natural Bird Pellets. To the astonishment of my wife and I, they started crunching and actually eating the pellets on their first introduction! I think with ZuPreem's pellet formula we have finally "cracked the code" and I am happy to report that we are witnessing the impossible - our birds are weening off their seed diet. This product will become a staple in our home.

My Budgies refuse to eat this.
Weve tried to convince my two budgies to eat this food as its a decent food but a lot more affordable than the good foods. They both absolutely refuse to eat any of it. We are going back to their previous food.
