Works great, wonderful entry level dac. Worth every cent.
Fantastic DAC for the Price – Plug-and-Play Audiophile BoostI’ve been using the FiiO KA11 with both my iPhone 15 Pro and a Google Pixel, running it through a USB-C splitter—and it works flawlessly. It was completely plug-and-play, no setup needed.I tested it across multiple apps—Tidal, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, HBO—and it delivers excellent sound consistently. The clarity and depth really shine, especially when paired with my CCZ Melody and Moondrop Chu2 IEMs. The iPhone’s EQ settings (I love the Late Night preset with the Melody) take it even further. It does warm up after about 15 minutes of use, but I didn’t notice any unusual battery drain. I have over 100 hours of use out of mine so far. Build quality is rock solid—it feels heavier and more premium than you’d expect for a $33 dongle. If you’re looking for a compact, high-quality USB-C DAC/amp that just works and sounds fantastic, this one is well worth it.

Great budget DAC with low latency and amazing quality for the price.
Compact, powerful, low latency DAC for entry level people getting into IEM's, or if you just want more powerful audio for your headphones. They work great, sound great, the build quality is top notch, and I plugged it into my Windows PC and it was automatically detected, same thing with my Android device. so this DAC can be used for 2 different devices. The low latency also helps for when you are gaming.

Defective. Stopped connecting less than one month.
Initially had trouble connecting via USB C to Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. Eventually worked. App support is woeful as the app back and setting icon buttons do not work because the app full screens overlapping notification bar. Less than one month after (purchased mid December, now January 8th) device stopped connecting to the phone. And if it does connect it connects and disconnects over and over again. Reinstalling the app has no effect on the connection issues. While it worked it powered my IEMs and headphones admirably. Strong enough power, great soundstage, and detailed. It's on the clinical side of balanced as highs are crisp though it's production can be fatiguing over certain frequencies, but this issue can be EQd out. Bass is strong and powers headphones bass output fast and accurately without out bloat. The dongle is fairly neutral and receives EQ well. To my knowledge there are no EQ settings, in the FiiO app for this particular product, only filters which functions as narrowing or widening soundstage, giving more presence and weight, filter to filter.Overall it sounded good, while it worked, for it's size and purpose and price. But it's stopped working, so I can't recommend this product.

Great amp and most durable you will find
I have dropped this thing more times than it had any right to survive. Once while attached to my computer. It bent, the computer did not, AND It still works great, just looks wonky now. No other micro amp/dac I’ve seen has this sturdy of a build and also this good sound.

Good sound and power -non replaceable cable
KEY TAKEAWAY, good sound and power BUT cable is starting to die at 6 months.I really like how much power this thing packs for its size and portability, to get that much power it does get a bit toasty and it does take a chunk of your battery life as well. A major flaw is that the cable is not replaceable so when it goes like mine is right now, the whole dac is toast.Overall I think it was a good spend, lasted about 6 months of rough use (probably longer than an Apple dongle) and is more capable than similar products.

Absolutely worth the price!
Great product! It's rated to put out 200 mW into 32 ohms, and I believe it. With moderately efficient earbuds, I can't put the volume setting above 50 ..... it's just too loud. At moderate levels, the sound quality is great, and the CS43131 DAC decoded every Hi-Res song I've streamed from Tidal. An absolutely great value!

Popping and cracking sound in Pixel 9
Sounds good, gives the sound a warm tone, however I keep hearing pops and cracks from time to time. These pops are just fraction of a second, but they ruin the whole experience. The device also trends to get very hot, and drains the battery pretty fast. I'm using a Google Pixel 9, so not sure if the device will have the same issues in other smartphones. The connection is plug and play, just download the Fiio control app for firmware updates, select the filter or turn off the led.
