I live in south FL, where insects are out to get ya year round. There have been times, even with insect repellent, my legs in particular look terrible because of all the mosquito/fly bites. You miss a spot with spray, they find it. And the eucalyptus and lemon spray I’ve used around my neck and head…generally useless. I look like a mummy when I’m out in the yard (there’s a wetlands behind the house, which doesn’t help), with my head wrap and neck bands, and a cap. Year round I’m almost always working in the yard or otherwise doing something recreational out somewhere in a natural setting, so I’m exposed more than a lot of people. With the exception of the “natural” repellent I used around my face and neck, I have never used anything other than products with at least 25% Deet. We have quite a variety of nasty, disease-carrying mosquitoes here. Need to take serious precautions that way when you’re outside so much. This stuff is terrific. Keeps mosquitoes and biting flies at bay, not an easy task. They fly by my head and leave! It’s barely scented, and what there is smells nice…unlike the “dry” sprays out there that almost make me nauseous because of the smell. I use it on my face, neck, arms, etc. No reaction whatsoever. Not greasy. Is a little sticky when first put on, but quickly dries. Can’t even tell it’s on. I’m most often outside in early evening to sunset and slightly afterward, for 2-4 hours. Works like a charm. Made in the U.S. with ingredients from here and Germany. A very good thing. I used it almost every day; even when sweating bullets in the high heat and humidity in Summer it did its job. Not sure how it could be any better. Worth every dime for me. I used to go through cans of the spray stuff, and it’s getting more expensive (and there’s less in the can now) all the time. This lasts a good while. Just a little dab will do ya…so you can be very conservative with it, and it should do you just fine.😉

This insect repellent lotion works really well. It keeps mosquitoes and other bugs away for hours without feeling sticky or greasy. The scent is light and not overwhelming, and it’s gentle on the skin. It’s perfect for outdoor activities or travel. I would definitely recommend it.

This stuff is amazing 👏 the only way I will not buy this product is if they change there formula. My son told me about this product and it's been the best non greasy easy to apply no FUNCKY STICKY APPLICATION Like off, Rid, and Deet this stuff works Mesquitos Hate this stuff I can walk out in short sleevs and shorts again without smelling like a toxic Bio hazard I apply this on my legs, arms and back if I'm waring flips I apply it to my feet and between my toes I also apply the residue on top of my clothes Works great 👍

Keeps the mosquitoes away for a long time and feels like lotion. It's not smelly. It's not sticky.

So far so good. It has no scent and seems to repel insects, but in hot weather i do not think it lasts 14 hours, so may need to be reapplied. The main downside though, is that i do not see anywhere a list of lotion ingredients. I like to know what i am putting on my skin.

Fragrance free and propylene glycol Free! Not sticky but thin. This is my favorite bug lotion. I have purchased this twice for myself and once for a friend's kids. I get bitten in humid states when traveling! I swell! I tried this once and it was amazing! Its NOT sticky and does not have ANY Fragrance. The consistency is thin and leaves a little shine when applied, almost like a good moisturizer. I apply when i go out in humidity and can wear dresses, shorts, skirts and expose my skin and the mosquitos stay away and I have NOT been bitten once since using daily in humid states and places! I love it and wont leave home without applying it. Great gift to the ones that get bitten easy and swell up from mosquitos. It's a gift that many don't think of but is a brilliant gift for parents of kids or adults who hike or are by water with mosquitos! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for any who needs to stay away from bugs that bite!

We live near water in central FL . Mosquitos and biting midge flys (Noseums) are a real nuisance most of the year. Bought this lotion after a river guide recommended it to me. It doesn’t have much fragrance, no greasy residue, it’s easy to rub in and best part, it really works. For hours!! Even over night in the swamp, I never have to worry when I use Proven Insect repellant. I highly recommended.

It worked to prevent bites at outdoor events in the summer.
