Don't Hire Someone - Clear Snow Off Your Roof Yourself!
I'm 5'6", 140lbs, have limited mobility in my right shoulder (due to breaking my collarbone, ribs and tearing my rotator cuff many times) and yet I was able to clear over 2' of snow off my roof yesterday (my house is 30x40), without assistance, and I did so in less than 2 hours. The rollers prevent any damage that would result of traditional roof rakes, the aluminum handles make it lightweight and the parachute material makes the snow FLY off the roof with ease.

Amazed at the quality for the price
Very well built. Amazed at the quality for the price. Works great on new snow, hard when it turns to ice. In other words get after it right away and don't wait for it to ice up. Tying rope or bungee to end of slide helps control where the snow falls off. With out it just weights down the slide with snow and you have to dig or pull out of pile. You will get hit with snow but you get better at controlling it with practice. I am going to put down plastic or a tarp before I start so I can pull snow away from house. There is lots of snow on a roof and makes a big pile. Can flatten bushes. I did loose a wheel but I hit a pipe I didn't see. Made another one and got a 25 cent rod cap and it still is working great. Found the wheel I lost too on the roof.

The extensions freeze up
This works perfectly as advertised unless you have to add/remove extensions as you're cleaning your roof. They freeze together and are impossible to pull apart unless you heat them. Start with the shortest length, do all your cleaning, then add a length, do more cleaning, etc. until the roof is clear. then take it into a warm place and let it thaw out before dismantling.

Lightweight and easy to handle
The long cape was too long for a one story building and kept blowing in the wind. I shortened it by half and weighted the bottom with two long plastic tie wraps inserted in the bottom hem and now it works great for our buildings which are all one story. A real necessity with all the snow we have had this year.
