Better Than Siless Foam — Great Adhesion and Solid Sound Deadening
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ve used several sound deadening materials over the years — from Noico to Siless — and honestly, this one surprised me. I used it inside my doors and rear panels during a full audio upgrade on my truck, and it made a noticeable difference in road noise and vibration control. What really stood out was how well it sticks. Compared to Siless foam, this adhered way better, especially on slightly curved or uneven metal surfaces. I didn’t have to fight with it or go back and re-press areas — once it was down, it stayed down. Installation was easy with a roller and a heat gun for tighter spots. It's also noticeably cheaper than some of the name-brand options, which is great when you're trying to cover a whole vehicle without spending a fortune. Pros: ✅ Excellent adhesion — better than Siless in my experience ✅ Reduces road noise and vibration effectively ✅ Flexible and easy to work with ✅ Great value for the price Cons: ⚠️ Backing paper can tear if you rush the peel (go slow) ⚠️ Doesn't have brand hype — but still performs like a premium option

Not a miracle worker for sound but it makes a diffrence.
Purchased to wrap some areas of the duct work in my house to help with the transition of sound from the basement throughout the rest of the house. While not perfect, it does make a noted decrease in volume and clarity of sound that gets echoed through our ducts and that's all I needed it to be able to do! The adhesive works great and application was very easy. The material isn't too heavy to work with and light enough to stick upside down without sagging or pulling off an aluminum duct. And was easy enough to trim with a razor blade and scissors (although the scissors needed to be cleaned to remove the adhesive residue afterwards) If you need sound dampening/deadening material, this one hundred percent does the job. Combine it with open cell sound foam and it makes a space both quieter and with less sound transmission to adjacent rooms.

Install only clean products.
Great Value and Noticeable Noise Reduction Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2025 I used the VOISEN 157 MIL sound deadening mat on my truck cab and doors, and the difference was immediately noticeable. Road noise, vibration, and rattles dropped a lot — especially on the highway and when towing. The cabin feels tighter and more solid, and even my audio system sounds cleaner with better bass response. The material itself is thick and flexible enough to mold around corners and contours, and the adhesive backing sticks very well once pressed down with a roller. It feels just as solid as some of the bigger-name brands I’ve used but for a fraction of the cost. My only small complaint is that the foil layer can tear if you’re not careful when cutting or repositioning, and the adhesive gets messy on hotter days, so wear gloves and plan your layout before sticking it down. Also, it’s a little heavy once installed — but that’s expected at 4 mm thickness. Overall, this is a great mid-priced sound deadener that performs far above what I expected. If you want a quieter ride or better-sounding audio setup without spending a fortune, this VOISEN mat is a solid choice. Would buy again — 4 stars

Great product
Be sure you know where you are placing this, because the adhesive is REALLY good! This material is easy to work with and does the job fabulously. It doesn't seem like it would hold up to heat well so keep away from engine compartment. I used it inside all my doors and trunk lid to keep noise and vibration down.

Sounds Like It Worked
Product Name or Manufacturer: VOISEN Product Description:Sound Deadening Mat w/Adhesive Key Features: 36 square feet; 3-layer sound deadener; Blocks radiant heat; Sound proofing; Water proof; Convenient to install; Flexible and odorless. Product as Arrived: Single roll (16 inches by 330 inches), rolled up in the item's original cardboard box. Positive Attributes: Roughly $1.10 per square foot; Sound proofing; Sound deadening; Easy to cut and install; Good adhesive; Added insulation. Negative Attributes: Durability. Overall Impression: I was searching for an inexpensive way to reduce road noise inside my vehicle’s trunk. I have used other sound deadeners for projects, those being the high-density sound deadeners. This is a closed-foam material, basically like lining the trunk with a thin yoga mat, not butyl rubber. I knew what I was looking for, and this was exactly that. The material was easy to size, cut and contour to the trunk walls. The roll of 36 feet was enough to do the trunk floor and side walls, which is all I needed. I literally had a tiny square. The car specs were around 26 feet, so I am glad I had enough. I would have been extremely upset if I had to take everything apart again! I don’t know how well of an insulator the material is, the listing says “blocks 98% of radiant heat”, whatever that actually means, I am not sure, but it has got to reduce heat gain and loss, at least a little bit. If you are looking for a sound deadener for your car stereo, this would definitely not be my first choice. This material works good for reducing road noise, vibrations and rattles, but not for increasing SPL like the other material. I would definitely think about the project and the desired results before making this purchase so as to properly manage expectations. I paid roughly $1.33 per square foot of the other material. If I were to do it again, I would spend the extra $7.20 (per 36 square feet) for the heavier-duty material. * = Product does NOT function correctly! Product needs to be replaced or returned immediately! Definitely do not recommend this product! ** = Product functions correctly, but lack positive attributes. Will likely be replaced, return if possible. I would not recommend it. *** = Product does what it’s supposed to, I got what I paid for, I will keep it and use occasionally. Maybe recommend it. **** = Product does what it should, with more positive attributes. A good value! I will keep this and use it frequently and recommend it . ***** = Product does what it should, and does it well! A great value! I will use this daily and promote this!

Definitely helping with making my sound system sound better in a lexus 08 es350

This product wasn’t my favourite after using several sound proofing products for my car sound proofing project. I found that the material was pretty rigid and required a very flat surface to adhere to. It was great for flat panels but I noticed that when adhered to contoured panels, the material would later lift and unstick in certain areas. I would recommend a product with a butyl rubber adhesive instead.
