Update: We know what happened and it was not a supplier issue. Sorry to have created an alarm. Pure Encapsulations is and has been doing fine. We've been getting these and several other supplements from Pure Encapsulations for a long time. This order was specifically troubling because the capsules in the bottle were two different sizes, some large and some smaller. We received a refund but are now questioning whether the supplier can be trusted with our business.

This is a superior product. I tried another brand and they were fillers and very poor quality. I’m not even bothering to finish those, I just ordered more Pure Encapsulations. I won’t bother buying a different brand again. I’ll stick with these, even if they cost more! Pay less for nothing or pay more and actually get what you ordered? I know my answer. Surprised there was such a dramatic difference. Shame on scammer products!

i'm a type 1 diabetic of 18 years and believe taking taurine daily has helped to preserve my kidneys. this is a must have if you're at risk for any sort of kidney damage. there's a lot of research out there supporting taurine supplementation in preservation of kidney function. i love the pure encapsulations taurine because it lacks nasty fillers that other companies use.

Taking as recommended by a doctor. Been taking for years. Capsule size is easy to swallow.

I decided to try this after having read about it in a book about menopause, Hormone Repair Manual by a naturopathic doctor, Lara Braden (this is a great book). She recommends it for a number of things, but one of them is to help with sleep and night sweats. I was having a horrible time with both of these so I decided to add this to my sleep recipe (glycine, magnesium glycerinate, myo inositol, melatonin, and now taurine). I initially started with 500mg just to be safe, but after getting deeper into her book, I realized she recommended a higher dose, so I upped it to 1000 mg......that was the ticket!!! I now sleep SOOOO great after upping it to 1000mg and my temperature has been much better regulated while I sleep. Hope this review helps someone out there struggling with sleep due to menopause!
