Rubbermaid Commercial Briefcase Mechanical Utility Receiving Scale, 100-Pound (FGP100S)

I ordered this for our small business that ships tractor repair parts almost daily. We had been struggling along with a bathroom scale that probably wasn't very accurate. When it got broken, I decided to get a good scale. I shopped for several days before deciding on the Rubbermaid Commercial scale. It had all the features that I wanted. It is very accurate and I can see how we have been overpaying in the past with an inferior scale. Even the men in our company are impressed with it's toughness.

I bought this for our food pantry. We were trying to use regular scales and it wasn't working out good and I went searching for something to help them and found these. The first review I read was written by someone who had also purchased them for a food pantry where he worked and thought they were great, that was a selling point for me. The ladies LOVE them and has made weighing donations so much easier.

This little scale was reliable and worked well for what we needed to weigh in a timely fashion.

We use this to weigh meat and fish that we order by the pound to verify that we are charged the correct amount. Very good product.

As cool as this looks, I wish it were more consistent. I use this as a postal scale for weighing large packages and have to reset tare weight every time I measure. I end up weighing each package two or three times and taking an educated guess. For very general purposes, this does the job, but if you need precise measurements, you might want to skip this one.

works well, and easy to use and read. Only thing that is annoying is the spring loaded scale takes a few seconds to settle down if you don't place an item on it very slowly.
