Amazing product
These traps actually work! Flys are a big problem in my area and since putting out these two traps for all intents and purposes” they are now non-existent. I highly recommend these traps.

We'll see
I have used a few of these types of fly traps. Some work better than others.I just set this one up when I got up this morning and already it's catching flies. It was easy to set up. I received 2 traps and 4 baits along with a chain to hang it. If I don't want to use a chain, I can use the twist ties that are also included.I have a terrible problem with flies on my deck under my gazebo and we don't even eat out there.Every single time I open the sliding glass door to go on the deck or let the dogs in or out, at least 1 fly makes it's way inside. If I don't catch it immediately, it will drive us nuts.Luckily I have cats that like to jump in the air to catch them. Believe it or not, it's very effective. They aren't good at catching the mouse we had in here but flies they're good at. Imagine that.I do have other types of traps hanging from my gazebo so I have enough to catch a lot of flies.I don't reuse these traps though. I'm going to save your stomach contents by not spelling out the reason but suffice it to say, it goes into the trash when it's full. Trust me on that.Although this is a pretty good trap, I don't have the stomach to rinse and repeat. It was easy to get it set up with the lure contents. I dumped it into the container, added warm water, stirred it and hung it up. Within 15 minutes, it caught it's first fly.It has now been 4 or so hours and I have more than a dozen in the container. Not that I am getting close enough to count. Ewww.So, yes, I would say it works and I will be purchasing more in the future. I also recommend.

Nice to have additional refill, not seeing much activity yet.
It's a simple product, open the jar, dump in the stinky powder that smells like manure, hold breath (wait, do that before you dump in the powder...), add water to the fill line, shake/stir it up very well (use hot water as it doesn't dissolve very well with gentle shaking or cold water), then hang up and wait.Kit includes wire ties or a fancy chain to hang them up, I chose the wire ties as it was simpler and less to unwrap. I only have a few annoying house flies show up in the garage when I working outside and going in/out a lot and thought maybe they would succumb to the this trap but so far am not seeing it work for me yet.

Very effective outdoors, lures flies away from you to their doom
I've tried the vinegar flytrap and wasn't expecting much. This is a simple plastic bottle you empty a packet of bait powder into, fill with water to the line and swirl to mix, screw the top on, place the hood then hook it to the included chain and hang it a distance from where you're going to be. This is a bait trap, not a repellent, and it actively lures flies instead of just being a hazard like fly-strips or glue traps which are only effective if they happen to blunder into it.I don't believe this contains pesticide or major chemicals - I got a whiff and it smelled a little like fruit or apples. The MSDS sheet for this product says it's not particularly hazardous, but you probably don't want to taste it or rub it on your face and can be hung out of reach from children or pets. It isn't killing via poison, but the trap structure and inescapable volume of sweet-smelling water is carrying out the insecticide process.I mixed it up and hung it outside on a tree and within two hours at least 10 flies had perished in the liquid and five or six more were buzzing around inside unable to escape. So you want to strategically hang this away from your patio or picnic or wherever you plan to be because it will attract all the flies toward it. Plus it is a bit ghastly - the text points out that it's got a "discretion texture" so passers-by won't directly notice your hanging bottle of drowned flies. It's a less distracting alternative to an electric bug zapper, though it seems primarily for large flies and might be overkill inside a house against tiny fruit flies. I don't imagine this is effective for bees or mosquitos or moths or other flyers as a powered UV trap would be.My package came with two bottles, each with a pack of powdered bait, and two extra bait refill packs.
