Overall I am glad I purchased this. I will note that future versions really need to look at how the bag is filled. Yes it creates a mess, and yes it was somewhat of a pain. I would prefer if they had some sort of lip or spout in the opening to pour buckwheat hulls in, then roll that into the bag.Nevertheless it is a good product that gets the job done, well made (stiches seem firm and good quality).

The product description is dead on. Good quality. The only thing that was not described was how much fill was needed. One reviewer stated 5lbs of buckwheat shells which I got. Way too much. I would say 2lbs at the most. This gives it firmness but moldability to adapt tones size and shape. Anyone need 3lbs of buckwheat shells

Have used product as window and ground support.Like the included plate to mount a head to the LensSack Pro Jr.Very well constructed and seems like it will take a lot of miles before replacement will be necessary.Considered size and weight before buying. Originally filled with bird seed but changed to buckwheat hulls for weight reduction. Didn't weigh it before and after but there was a noticeable change in total fill weight. Lenscoat makes a larger model but IMO this is the best size and weight for up to a 500/f4 lens.Very satisfied with this purchase.

I would up filling it with lightweight industrial sponge, to get it rigid but still functional.It is somewhere at home while I took two low-cost-shabby bean bags, filled them up with buckwheat grains, and topped the top area with slender firm foam, and they are in my car as permanent fixtures. They do the job, and I don't really care if they get damaged.

This product was very helpful in stabilizing my camera and zoom lens while photographing various bird species from the car. I filled it with several small sandwich bags that I filled with cracked corn and it worked well. The straps make it easy to use as handles to reach for it and carry it. I've not attached my camera or lens directly to the beanbag - just rested it on top. Definitely made a difference since (for me) it's more difficult to steady the lens when shooting from the car.

The build quality on this bag is great. I expect to get many years of use from it. I used poly beads for the full material which makes it a stable platform for my camera and lens.

Great product.I suffer with essential tremors so this product honestly is still letting me enjoy photography. Mounts easily and quickly to the car door. Still trying to find the perfect items to fill the bag.
