LubriMatic 30-721 Ultraview Pistol Grease Gun - Green Barrel

I've had bad luck with grease guns leaking while in storage - I'm uncertain if its due to the fact that I'm using 'red and tacky' grease, as its always the carrier oil that ends up dripping. I purchased this unit partially because of the transparent grease tube (seriously cool), but also because I recognized that the handle / pump area seems to be of higher build quality than other grease guns. I've had the gun for about 2 weeks, and so far its doing great!

Grease guns have poor performance. One or more may be crossthreaded in packaging. But most importantly, SUPPORT DOESN'T EXIST. You will be getting something that appears like a good product.

Works as stated

This gun will not work with using the bulk feed grease filler. The grease will flow past the plunger and fill up on the back side of the spring. The only use is for clear tube is to see the product label on a cartridge tube..

Bulk grease is a pain to pump into it and grease gets past plunger.

I have no idea why this has so high a review score, as the product doesn't warrant it and neither does the support after the purchase. Within months after buying it, the gun started leaking grease everywhere, past the plunger and past the head seal. Every grease tube we put in leaked at least 25% of the grease out of the tube. The clear body might look cool, but it doesn't do any good when it fills with the leaked grease and you can't see anything through it any longer. We tried getting a seal kit for it, but the only product support number on the Lubrimatic website is just a message service that takes your message and then nobody contacts you back.
