Dark chocolate with perfect amount of mint.

This is my favorite chocolate bar and I am so glad I can get it on Amazon for close to $2 a bar instead of paying $3.50 at a local Whole Foods. The Chocolate itself, for those who haven't tried it, has a wonderful full-bodied chocolate flavor that blends perfectly with the coffee. It also has small, but noticeable crunchy bits that I find very enjoyable. The chocolate exposes it best flavor at around 60-65 F, but still is enjoyable at lower temperatures. I have had great success with using this chocolate to make home-made peanut-butter cups, which my SweetHeart raves about when she gets them as a present. However, this does not make good chocolate to make hot Chocolate, as the complex coffee flavors simply don't hold up well. As such, I am unsure of how well this would hold up in baking recipes, but in any cases where you just want to melt, coat, and serve it shines. Be aware that 1 serving (3 squares) of this chocolate is suggested to be equivalent to 1 cup of coffee's worth of caffeine, and I would have to say that I agree with them as having 3-6 squares of this chocolate will certainly give you a jolt (which I like, because I snack on it when I study).At the time of this review this item IS NOT sold directly by Amazon and is only fulfilled by Amazon through 3rd parties. As with any perishable item that you buy on Amazon, buying from a good merchant is key if you want to get a product of good quality and fresh. I bought my Chocolove Coffee Crunch 12-Pack from PocoPay, as they others have already have commented on how the seller gave them fresh chocolate. I bought this in Mid-February of 2016 and when the pack arrived it had a date on the front of September 2015 (5 months ago!). I was concerned, but upon opening the pack I was hit with a fresh chocolate smell and upon inspecting the chocolate bars themselves the "Best By" date was listed for September 2016 (7 Months away). As I will typically eat about 1 bar of chocolate a week, having a 3 month supply of chocolate be fresh for 7 months is more than enough for me, so I was pleased. Please note to store your chocolate bars in a Air-tight container in a cool (preferably dark) place. I store mine in a zip-lock bag in 'Lazy Susan'.

I'm a sucker for sweets at bed time but I get migraines in the morning if I eat milk chocolate (which is fine because I prefer dark anyway). These are perfect for me. Great taste, just enough salt and they break into small squares so I can satisfy my sweet tooth with one or two squares. Love, love, love.

Delicious, but don't eat at night, the real crushed coffee beans will keep you up.

I love this brand. I don’t normally buy chocolate in bulk but my grocery store stopped carrying it.It was packaged very well. I took a chance buying it during the heat of summer. When UPS delivered it the outside box was actually hot. The 4 cold packs surrounding the insulated bag inside the outer box were warm (but not wet because they were in individual plastic bags). I was worried. But, amazingly, the chocolate was fine! No signs of melting and the chocolate tastes fresh.

Product is very good but putting a flimsy box of large candy bars in an envelope is ridiculous. Everything was scattered out of the Box and inside the plastic envelope. I’m starting to see this type of thing with Amazon now. Maybe trying to save a few Pennies.
