Such A Nice And Very Legit Backpacking Tent
This tent is an incredible deal for it's price. It exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Everything about this tent and everything it comes with is designed to make it as high quality as possible. It comes with the components of tents that are 3-4 times it's price. Such as light and strong all aluminum poles, Y shaped UL aluminum stakes, thin and strong guy lines that are reflective, and a very nice fitted ground cloth. Even the guy line adjusters are an upgraded design over the typical 2 hole toggle style adjusters. It has a full mesh inner tent and a full coverage outer tent with vestibule. The ventilation is great and condensation is not an issue at all with this tent as the inner and outer don't touch. The build quality is of course also great. The stitching has no light gaps, all the seams are taped, it has reinforced corners, and the zippers are super smooth. Even the straps at the bottom that the poles and ground cloth connect to, and it is staked down through, are some of the nicest quality I've ever seen on a tent. I mean this thing is seriously impressive! All of us normal backpackers will definitely consider the 3.5lb total weight as UL. The UL crowd of course will not because as we all know, nothing is ever light enough for them. I've gotten 15 or so tents of various types and sizes from the Vine program so far. This one is absolutely in the top 3 overall and by far the best backpacking tent out of all of them! It is now my absolute go to for solo, long distance, backpacking trips. I'm a pretty hardcore Night Cat fan when it comes to quality budget tents and gear in general. However they have nothing under $100 that comes close to this one, and that's pretty hard for me to admit. I completely love this tent and very much recommend it! VERY much recommend it!!

Great quality for the price, but for use only in specific circumstances.
I assembled the tent indoors to get a sense of it (shown in my photos is the tent sitting atop a twin bed) and overall I'm impressed by the quality, though it seems you'll only want to be using this in a few specific scenarios.A ground tarp is included, which isn't mentioned in the instructions but is a great addition and is of notably thicker material. The main structure is mostly mesh (seen in second photo), so you'll have to use the "rain fly" to cover the entire structure if you want any sort of wind protection, heat retention, or privacy. This limits the versatility and use to fairly good weather conditions. The rainfly doesn't fully attach to the tent, allowing for good air flow underneath it and through the tent, which can be welcome in some conditions but again limits the range where this tent will apply. The interior is rather cramped, as one might expect for an efficient, lightweight travel single-person tent, but isn't horrible. Don't expect to sit upright without the tent material pressing on the sides of your head though.Of note, the design of the tent basically requires that it be staked down and tied up to nearby trunks or branches to attain its full proper shape and volume. This is understandable, if a bit disappointing. Basically, the included poles aren't enough to keep the tent fully formed and you'll need to use the included strings if you want the full experience. On the plus side, assembly is quite simple and easy to figure out. I managed to put it together in 5 minutes, despite not realizing the instructions are attached to the inside of the storage pouch!Overall, this is a respectable single-person, lightweight tent for the price. I haven't tried it out in the wild yet, and it doesn't appear to be especially heavy-duty, but I expect it will survive at least a handful of uses which makes it a decent value for the price.I'm a bit disappointed that it can't handle anything but the most accommodating weather, but then I suppose if the climate is the slightest bit cold you're unlikely to want to sleep solo anyway. It's also unfortunate that you have to use the ties and poles to get the full volume. Which again is reasonable for the sake of reducing weight and simplifying, but is another detail that makes me not quite willing to give a full 5 stars. Still, I doubt anyone will be disappointed with this tent. I plan to use it this summer, and will give an update to this review if that experience change anything.

Fantastic backpacking tent- just got back from a 23 mile hike
I've used this tent on two trips now. The last one was a 23 mile trek in less than 48 hours where we had to carry a lot of water. Backpacking light was important and while my youth Scouts all opted for hammocks, I wanted this tent. For a little more weight, I was able to sleep on a ground pad and be better protected from the elements. It is so simple to put up with a single interconnected Y pole, that I actually had my tent up before the Scouts had their hammocks and rainfalls tied down. I've been in two rain storms with it and no water got inside. Highly recommended and a great value.

Leaks badly
It's light and me and my husky fit in it comfortably. However it leaks very badly

A decent UL tent!
I have been using an ultralight 2 person tent when backpacking for a few years. This is a great tent! It's light, stands up to a bit of rain and has all the build feature you expect from an UL tent.I think it would be wise to seal all the taped seams but I'd expect to do that with any backpacking tent.I personally don't buy into the idea that an ounce less tent should cost $600 so I will always carry an inexpensive tent backpacking and this one is a great option at a decent price.

Lightweight, but well made
This tent is lightweight, but well made. It is definitely best for one person. If you want to sleep two, you had better be comfortable sharing a sleeping bag as well. The tent is pretty easy to set up, and works well.

Nice little tent for a kiddo or solo camper
I actually haven't had a chance to use this tent myself, but I did set it up for my daughter to have a personal sleepover in her room. For that purpose, this tent was great as it has a fairly small footprint and didn't take up too much room. Setting it up felt easier than most other tents I've owned and taking it down was equally simple. The included rods are metal which I highly prefer over the older style fiberglas and plastic rods that have a tendency to break. Overall this is a nice tent that I look forward to camping in very soon!
