Excellent for the original ROG Ally.
Since the original (2023) ROG Ally and ROG Ally Extreme both use 2230-style SSDs, you won't be able to use your 2280 drives here, without a handy adapter like this.Remove existing 2230 SSD, install this adapter with your new SSD, and away you go. There's really not much to it, and this works just fine, and fits perfectly. I'm using a couple of different brands of adapters and SSDs with my two Ally devices, and no issue with either.5 out of 5. Excellent.PS Just in case you bought a 2024 Ally X, you do not need this adapter as the X supports 2280 drives out of the box.
