A heavy-duty gas-powered monitor arm with RGB lighting
PROS+ Eazy instructions for assembly+ Quick-release is a very nice feature and works well+ Adjustable, heavy duty gas spring+ Foam adhesive padding for desk surface clamp+ RGB is nice and works well. Looks fantastic in the dark!+ Included clamp plastic back-plate has built-in hex wrench holders+ Desk space saversCONS- The hex wrenches are soft metal, and I did strip the small one. Thankfully, the bolt heads are harder. I'm still appreciative they included them.OTHER THOUGHTSI bought two of these gas-powered monitor mounts; one to hold a MSI MPG 322URX OLED monitor and another to hold an Acer Predator X27 IPS panel (the latter I've had for years and still very much enjoy). I bought these more for the heavy-duty gas-powered arms because my primary monitor I want in front of my face and secondary to the side of it. The primary monitor will be whichever task I'm doing; OLED mainly for videos and gaming and the Acer for everything else. With that, I will be moving these monitors often and wanted heavy-duty quality and ease-of-use. Moving these monitors is effortless and in a weird way, fun.The included instructions were easy to follow for assembly. The cable management along the upper and lower arms have a very thick 3-meter-long DisplayPort DP80 cable, an AC power cable and the included USB cable running through them without issue and hold up very well. The RGB lighting is a nice and works well. They look fantastic in the dark! The gas powered spring is awesome and adjustments can be made very easily with the large hex wrench that is included. A foam gasket is included so that the surface of your desk has some protection when tighting the clamp.I appreciate the added touch to include hex wrench cut-outs to the back cover of the clamp so that the included small and large hex wrenches can go into and stay with the arm mount.Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend.

It might actually be the end game monitor arm...
The media could not be loaded. So I was boycotting MSI due to their outrageous pricing on their 50-series GPU's. However I caved as I needed a new monitor arm and I liked the look of this one with the RGB's. When they say "end-game" monitor arm, I don't think that is a lie. Coming from an Ares, which now I need to update my review, the MSI quality is insanely better. Packaging is tight and very protective of the product. But then the set up was easier than the Ares too. Less to build and yet everything compared to the Ares is beefier, stronger, cleaner, smoother. Just absolutely everything from the tension control of the shocks to pivot points, smoother and cleaner looking.Once on the desk the the range of motion is amazing and smooth. Cable management is the absolute best. They really took their time to build this arm. I guess maybe I got use to RGB lighting patterns on cheaper Chinese brand products, but the MSI RGB functions are so nice and lightyears better than some of these other brands.I order 2 as I am using a dual monitor set up and since one is widescreen I couldn't use the dual one. I honestly can't wait for the second one to come and be done with my new desk set up.

Stunning monitor arms but do not support vertical stacking.
I want to start this review by stating that this monitor arm does not support stacking your monitors vertically although the store page would make it seem otherwise. Attached is a photo of my 34" monitor at its lowest height and a 27" monitor at its tallest and there is zero clearance for vertical stacking, unfortunately. What I love; these monitor arms are absolutely stunning, the RGB is a nice touch but don't imagine I'll be using it too often. They also feel very hefty and have no issues supporting my monitors. I have a 34" and a 27" on the dual arm and a 27" on the single arm. The flexibility of these monitors is also great, as long as the arm is mounted to the side you can have your monitors fully extended to the side, flush with the back of your desk, and still be capable of pushing your desk up against the wall.Having both a clamp option and a grommet option is also very nice but I opted for the clamp as it seems extremely sturdy, especially on my butcher block and I'm prone to changing and moving things around with my setup very frequently. Would hate to put permanent holes in the desk. The cable management is also very nice although I'd rather the cables be routed on top of the arm rather than the bottom to better conceal them.I didn't feel the need to fully tighten down any of the bolts used for adjusting the arms. My arms stay in the position I like without any sag and if I feel like it I can easily move them without having to loosen any bolts.Other than the arms not being capable of vertical stacking my only other complaint is that I did reach out to MSI directly to ask if the arms supported vertical stacking. It's been almost a week and haven't heard back to what is a simple yes or no answer. At the end of the day, I'd much rather have this monitor arm simply because of how great the clamp is compared to a lot of other brands. There is an adhesive pad you attach to the top of the clamp to help prevent scratches on your desk but nothing to prevent scratches on the bottom of the desk if that's something you care about.

Best Monitor Arms for the Price
These are extremely solid, easy to set up, and work perfectly. I use these for a 27 inch and 32 inch monitor and they easily hold the weight of both with hardly any adjustments needed. Cable management is fantastic, and the lights are a really cool added bonus. Honestly I am very impressed and surprised that MSI made these, for the price they punch way above their price point. I would have expected these to be priced in the 300$ range based on the build quality alone, but add in the RGB and ease of use, and they are very hard to beat!
