Worked Great…
I had to drive two ground rods building a new house. Hammering in red clay and sandstone, they both went right down in just a few minutes. I can’t say anything for the longevity of this bit but for what I had to do it worked great.Value for money:Much cheaper than a Milwaukee or dewalt and did the same job. But again, I only needed to drive two rods and maybe a handful more in the future.

Much easier than using a hammer
I'm using this to take 3ft rebar sections and put them through railroad ties for a landscaping project. Works well with both my Milwaukee M18 SDS-Max driver as well as a Bosch demo hammer.

Drives your rod home
Somehow my garage is missing its ground rod. The wire is there, but no rod. Weird. So, in an effort to improve electrical safety I determined I must install a new ground rod. These rods are about 8ft long and quite slender, try hammering one into solid ground.Enter this bit. It attaches to your SDS Max demo tool and then slips over the ground rod. You'll be using both the hammering action of the demo tool plus weight. Expect to need to lean on it some unless your ground is quite loose.Start out on a ladder, put your weight on it and before long you are standing on the ground, almost sitting on your machine while the ground rod goes deep. After connecting the rod to the interior wiring, my houtless check as having a good ground. This item saved me some agrivation and likely a bunch of heartache.

Snapped in under 3 minutes.

Read size
Bigger then I thought - I didn’t pay attention to the size before buying it - my mistake - I’m sure I'll find a use for it

Made well and does the job well! Limited to size and rounds over end.

Would recommend
It fit like it should and worked .Good price . A whole lot better than a hammer to drive a ground rod

You can’t go wrong
Good quality for the money. The other trusted brands don’t do any better than this one. Perform just like Milwaukee or Bosch
