It was squashed badly from the way it was packed, It has settled itself into shape no problem. I have little to nop hair, my head alway's burns, and gets hot, as soon as I put this hat on while I was sitting outside, the feeling of heat and burning stopped. Very impressed. just ask the seller to get packing changed to protect its shape.
