Well worth buying
Really good for what it is. Not too deep, not too shallow. Written well for a younger audience.

Interesting perspective on achieving peak performance
The author presents an interesting perspective of cultivating a mindset that supports peak performance. I found the numerous examples presented throughout the book validating and insightful. The author also does a great job of connecting with the reader on different normal human instances, such as losing track of time. Meeting the reader where they are empowers them to start building strategies to achieve the mindset. I enjoyed this book and will apply some of the concepts presented.

Flow!
When I was younger I had consistent experiences of flow. Now that I’m older I had forgotten about those moments until recently. I was training hard and some home I let go and got into flow. I did not understand how. This book taught me the essence of flow and how to achieve it. Now I know what I must do to re-experience flow again.

I enjoyed this from the first paragraph
I am not an athlete, but I am very interested in flow and I find learning about it through an athletic lens helps me apply the information to my own activities and context. This book is very well done, and I found the author’s “voice” enjoyable and engaging.
