Absoultely amazing set of lights, yes they are expensive, but the build quality, packaging, the top notch app and customer support well and truly makes them a great price.Generous amount of quality fixings allows it to be installed quick and easy. 3m sticky tape fixing is an option aswell, the adhesive on it is strong so make sure you do a test fixing before you stick it up.The app fully controls all the individual LEDs to create designs of your own or choose from hundreds that other users have made. 16million colours to choose from. Timers to switch on and off, music to light function, dreamview which allows you to connect to other Govee lights and replicate the designs and more. There is software you can download to create light designs on a PC rather than the app.Well worth the money.

Great customisability and transformed my son's gaming room into his dream setup

The first thing that strikes you when you receive this light strip is just how professional this kit is, the packaging is premium quality with everything inside in specific sections and individual boxes, the whole unboxing experience is akin to that of high-end tech items.The quality doesn't stop with the packaging, the light strip feels hefty but very flexible, it is extremely easy to fit, being supplied with more than enough fasteners and even extra sticky pads should you need them.Cutting the strip to your required length is simply a case of cutting along one of the many, and closely spaced, cut lines with a pair of household scissors.Once you have cut the strip to size you can use the excellent Govee App (more on that below) to re-calibrate the strip so the app knows how long it is, which is needed for some of the lighting modes.When the light strip is off it just looks like part of the skirting, completely blending in.In use the LED strip is plenty bright enough, but controllable to a gentle glow and the range of colours is very impressive. The strip is separated into lots of sections which each can be a different colour to the section next to it allowing for the creation of amazing colour effects.As mentioned above the Govee App is probably the best lighting related apps I've come across, it is simple to use and provides a mind boggling array of customisations, it also allows you to create groups with other Govee lights to be able to create fantastic lighting effects.The app also enables you to set up automated routines based on various triggers, such as sunset time in your locations.Overall, another fantastic LED light from Govee, a company with excellent products backed by a great app. Highly recommended.

I have a lot of LED strips/rope lights, from pretty much every well known brand going. This particular rope light is a stand out for a few reasons, firstly - it feels very premium (even unboxing feels like a treat), overall quailty is fantastic (quite heavy, feels thick and solid). The wider angle and shape means it sits very nicely on a wall or skirting board, giving it a more "fitted" type of look. Comes with lots of clips for attaching to the wall (sticky pads are in place but also comes with screws AND extra sticky pads if you want to reposition them at any point). Comes with two 90 degree see through peices which can be a little tricky to pop the light in. I would also say that if you're putting this on a skirting board then it works way better if you have a flat top on it. I have curved tops on some of mine and the clips don't sit quite right (they end up overhanging a few mm). And if you're putting them on a wall - make sure you wall is level/flat or make sure to use the screws to secure.Secondly, the app is probably one of the best I've used. Set up took me less than 30 seconds (although I did already have the app installed), from there it can be completely customisable, segment by segment. Also has scenes and reactive light to choose from, however I find the solid colours look smartest. All round very intuitive.Finally, the look of the light is very premium. Very well diffused. The smart integration is also flawless, set up with alexa in seconds and its quick to respond. Can't fault it at all, highly recommend

I really like Govee products and I’ve had several in the past.These are the first time I’ve used the wall LEDs.The quality is there and the ease of use and the functionality is all great and the colour of the lights are fine.Where I think the effect is spoiled is that you have to use the clips and these can be obviously seen all the time and kind of spoil the look of the lights.I’m not really sure how to avoid using the clips to achieve a desired effect so I guess you are just stuck using them.If they can develop a way to hide the clips mechanism then this will really elevate the look.
