This is a great slow cooker. I love that the inner bowl can be put on the stove and used to brown meat or other ingredients before using as a slow cooker. I had a problem with my old slow cooker, which had lost one of the closing clamps to hold the lid down. That had a stoneware pot and was very heavy. This GreenLife cooker is very light. The ceramic lining in the cooker works beautifully and makes it very easy to clean. I am glad I purchased it.

There’s a lot to love about this crockpot. The nonstick interior pot is lightweight and versatile. You can use it to brown meats and then place directly in the pot holder. And it’s easy to clean. I only purchase crockpots with this type of insert. I have 3 from different manufacturers and love them all because of the reduced weight and ease of cleaning. The pot holds a lot. I made a beef bourginon for 8 and the pot was not filled to the top. The controls are simple to use and the keep warm feature is great to have. The outside of the crockpot does get warm during heating but not so hot as to be a concern. The color is different and quite attractive. This pot does not mention heating before the first use but I highly suggest it. I filled the pot 3/4s full of water and set the pot on high for an hour. On this first use there was a noticeable chemical odor. When I used it for actual cooking the next time there was no odor from the pot.

This is a actual slow cooker. Easy to use. The settings are functional as well as easy. So much lighter than the crockery one. Very easy to clean. I'm in my 60's now and the original crock pot was so heavy and it cooked to hot. I was constantly having to get up through the night and adjust the temp. Not this one. Try it, you'll be glad you did.

I have really enjoyed my GreenLife slow cooker. I was looking to replace a small size slow cooker that I had for years and this 6 quarts was perfect. Easy to clean. Great quality. Non-toxic material. Easy to use and you can use it on top of the stove, which I have and not get damaged. It's large enough for a family of 4-6. I would definitely buy it again or give it as a gift.

Writing the review I would’ve wanted to read! Loved the idea of a non-chemical insert. Though, when I first fired up this bad boy, it had a very strong odor. Haven’t smelled it since. I don’t love the buttons on this. I sometimes have to press it two or three times to do what I want. Once I get the setting right though, it works great. I’m grateful for the delay option because I’m not always ready to start cook time when I leave the house to drop off the kids. Cooks evenly and haven’t had an issue with any recipes so far. I notice the food is usually done an hour or so before recipe’s recommended cook time so just check on your food toward the end - it may not need it the full 6 or 8 hours! Can’t beat the price, very light weight and easy to pull out and put away compared to other brands with a ceramic insert.

I've now had this slow cooker for 2 1/2 years, and I'm just as happy with it today as I was when I first purchased it, so I came back to actually write a review instead of just leaving the 5 stars I gave it a couple of years+ ago. There are so many positive things to say about it and literally zero negative thoughts or comments. The price can't be beat for starters. And on the surface, it's beautiful. I have a light blue kitchen, so the turquoise was my choice, and when not in use, it sits atop my fridge and is eye-pleasing. Using it is beyond simple. And "clean-up is a breeze" sounds cliché but is true. I don't use a slow cooker plastic liner, primarily because cooking in plastic is a no-no, but it's completely unnecessary with this nonstick slow cooker. I've never had anything stick to it. It's actually the most easy-to-clean item in my kitchen. Lastly and most importantly, it's toxic free and emits no harmful chemicals. That is beyond important to me for the health of my family. I also have the GreenLife sauté pan (love!) and several baking items such as the muffin tin and loaf pans (not such a fan). Love love love the slow cooker!

Love this slow cooker. It is light weight making it easy to clean and store away. You can braise on the stove top and then put it in the cooker to finish. Has wide range of time settings including a delay, and multiple cooking settings, hi, medium, low and stay warm.

Great product - works well - easy to clean and it’s a nice color.
