Easy to use Plate for Ethernet and Coax cables
This product allowed me to bridge a coax and ethernet cable between a short wall. I took a plate and put it on each end, and got two small cables to be able to connect them together, and it worked. You will need a cable box in the middle to make it clean, but as for the cable itself, it works wonderfully.

Good Functionality!
Install is very easy if you are using it to replace an already existing wall plate. Otherwise, an install from scratch will require you, at the minimum cutting a hole in the wall, fishing cables through it and drilling 2 small holes to insert wall anchors to screw the wall plate into it. There are other ways to do a new install like installing a receptacle box in the wall to mount it into...In all great product, sturdy and looks good.

A nice dual port plate
I needed to add a network drop to our bedroom for a streaming device but didn't want to have to add another box in the wall so this cover plate was the perfect solution.I removed the existing coax plate and cable from the back of the plate.I ran a Cat 6 cable down the inside of the wall from the atticI attached the Cat 6 cable and coax to the back of this plateScrewed the plate back on the wallDoneIf you don't have a crimping tool set for Cat6 (or don't feel like crimping), this plate works perfectly. Just buy a Cat 6 cable for the length you need with the terminals on both ends and then just plug one end into the back of the plate. Saves toning out the new cable if you're using a pre-built one.

It Works
It works and fits a standard box. The Ethernet cables on the back don't stay in very securely, so I used electrical tape. No issues with connectivity through the connectors.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I had just pulled the hack job of the decade while sitting home during lockdown and tried giving the impression that my home was wired for ethernet. After "cutting the cord" on cable I literally cut the cords on my cable (with the obvious exception of the one owned by my provider that I need for my internet service). My plan, so simple in theory, was to tear out the cable wires and simply pass ethernet cables through the now empty holes. WHAT A CLUSTERSMUDGE. I'm reviewing this product so I'll spare you from the mess I eventually created that required full slabs of drywall, trill bits, new paint, hours of cleanup, etc etc etc. HOWEVER, the end result looks absolutely flawless; I replaced all of the cable wallplates in each room with ethernet ones and downstairs where the cable comes in from the outside and my router resides this wall plate was a godsend. Talk about professional looking; the cable modem is hooked up to, you guessed it, the coaxial input and the ethernet cable running from the back of my modem that is the source of the whole charade plugs into the ethernet input and nobody is the wiser. This state of the art condo built in the 1980s was clearly way ahead of it's time.

Exactly what I was looking for. Works great.
Purchased this so I could relocate our wireless router, which was in the office in the corner of our basement. Also gives me the flexibility to move to cable modem if I later choose. Still have an extra Ethernet port to direct connect one of our streaming boxes or add an ether net switch.Happy with the quality if the plate and interconnect. Installed without issue a few weeks ago, and now I have much better wifi coverage in our home.

Made my wiring project much easier.
I did not want to have to learn how to cut and terminate network cable just for finishing my basement (which involves me running two Cat7 RJ45-terminated network cables and one coax cable). This wall plate saved me the hassle, I just plug or screw the cables into the plate from behind and the wall plate is ready to accept connections from the front of it.Because the Cat7 cable I have is terminated with RJ45 connectors it will work fine with the Cat6 keystone jacks on this plate (yes, I know I won't get the full benefit of Cat7 but that's a separate issue; I got Cat7 cables because they're better shielded, not really for speed).Overall I recommend these types of wall plates for anyone who doesn't want to fuss with terminating network cable themselves.
