Reliable, High-Capacity Humidifier That Truly Improves Air Quality
After using this humidifier for several weeks, I am genuinely impressed with its performance. My apartment is roughly 800 square feet, and the 7L capacity is more than capable of maintaining consistent humidity throughout the space. Setup was straightforward, and routine refills and cleanings are simple due to the top-fill design. The improvement in air quality was noticeable within the first day. The added moisture has helped with dry skin, reduced dust, and created a much healthier environment for my indoor plants. What stands out most is the accuracy of the auto mode. Once I set my target humidity, the unit holds the level within one to two percent without constant adjustments. Noise levels are minimal, even during higher output, which makes it suitable for bedrooms and small living areas. Overall, this model delivers a strong balance of capacity, precision, and ease of use. It has become an essential part of my apartment and has performed exactly as advertised.

Solid, well performing Humidifier - Recommended highly
Even next to HVAC, Furnaces and Air Handlers, this puppy can keep a decent amount of humidity in a room (Even though it will be running at full speed 24/7). Water capacity - exactly 2 1-gallon jugs of distilled water gets you slightly over the max fill line by about 1/16th. As for Leakage, haven't had any issues so far, though be aware if you lift the cover off to refill, the condensation will splash into the tank and maybe get a drop or 2 out of the humidifier. Quality is solid, well built and no complaints in that department. Cleaning is easy, I usually do it once a week every Sunday morning. Just need 2 tbsp of bleach for the 2L capacity. However if you want to be extra safe you can always put more bleach in like I do. Just let it soak in bleach and hot water for 30 minutes and then wipe dry with a paper towel to get rid of that slimy biofilm. Overall? Worth the money especially if you use other Govee products.

Sleep Better and Breathe Easy with Smart Convenience
The GoveeLife Smart Humidifier has been a fantastic addition to my bedroom, especially during the dry winter months. This 7L humidifier is perfect for large rooms and offers a great combination of features, making it a standout in the crowded humidifier market. I particularly appreciate the cool and warm mist options. Being able to choose the mist temperature is a game-changer, allowing me to customize the humidity to my preference and the season. The large 7L capacity means fewer refills, providing a long 70-hour runtime, which is excellent. The top-fill design is incredibly convenient; no more struggling with awkward water tanks! The smart features are where this humidifier truly shines. The Wi-Fi connectivity and compatibility with Alexa are incredibly useful. I can control the humidifier from my phone, even when I'm not home, and use voice commands to adjust settings. The auto mode is a great feature that automatically adjusts the humidity based on the room's conditions, ensuring optimal comfort. The built-in RGB lighting adds a nice touch, creating a calming ambiance in the room. It's perfect for creating a relaxing atmosphere, especially for babies or while winding down for sleep. Speaking of sleep, the humidifier operates very quietly, which is essential for a good night's rest. Overall, the GoveeLife Smart Humidifier is a great investment. It's packed with features, easy to use, and effectively humidifies large spaces. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart and reliable humidifier. I recommend this to family friends and to you.

An Ultrasonic Humidifer with Useful Connectivity features
As far room humidifiers go, this unit does its job proficiently. What makes it stand apart from similar offerings is its ability to integrate with Govee's other products, in particular their environmental sensors. First and foremost, this is an ultrasonic humidifier, so it disperses moisture by atomizing the water into microscopic droplets using super high frequency sound waves. This aspect is completely silent to any ears, human or otherwise. The most noise you will hear out of this device is an occasional quiet drip of water. There is no fan noise. The near silent operation is one of the upsides of an ultrasonic humidifier compared to an evaporative style unit. The downside is that the ultrasonic humidifier disperses everything loaded into the water tank. Whereas an evaporative humidifier leaves the mineral content and most other impurities behind, the ultrasonic will also disperse dissolved minerals from the water loaded into the unit. If you have hard water, you may notice white dust accumulating around the unit (this is an issue with any ultrasonic humidifier). The easiest way to prevent this is to use distilled water. It is also important to keep the internal parts of this unit clean, as biologic particulates (bacteria, mold, algae) are allowed to grow inside, they will eventually get dispersed into the air as well. Using an appropriate humidifier treatment for ultrasonic humidifiers can help extend the interval between cleanings, as well as using distilled water. Setup of this unit is pretty straightforward, with only a couple of assembly steps. The illustration of these steps could be slightly better, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out where a couple of the loose pieces needed to go. Read the instructions carefully for the best results, though it would be great if they were printed larger. Operation is pretty simple: Turn it on and set your desired humidity. Of course, there are more advanced options beyond that. While most controls can be achieved through the front panel, advanced operation is best handled through the Govee App. Through the app, you can set the operation speed, manual (ON) operation, or automatic operation (hold a particular relative humidity). There are options for timing and other particular use cases. One other particularly useful function is the warm mist setting. This warms the water, which does seem to help it rise and evaporate more quickly into the room. With this setting off, the higher operation speeds seem to create a cloud of mist that tends to arc back down to the floor. Other app functions allow for timed operation, and turning on and off at various times. Most importantly, the unit can be linked to one of Govee's hygrometers. While the unit itself can regulate using its internal humidistat, having a remote sensor in the room away for the unit really helps dial in a more precise control. Lastly, as with most Govee products, you can setup advanced controls based on conditions and states from other devices, as well as Alexa or Google Assistant control. I do have a few wants on my list with this unit, however. The tank cover collects condensate on the underside. This only becomes a problem when you want to refill the tank. Removing the cover, unless done with assiduous care will result in spillage of this condensate around the unit. A large mouth filling port would be a welcome addition to this cover so that water can be added without removing it. And on the subject of refilling, the unit does signal when it's out of water, and pushes a notification through the app, but it's basically stopped at that point. It would have been great to at least have a warning before reaching the state where there's insufficient water to operate. Ideally, a basic gauge would have been a really nice upgrade and would dovetail in well with the data-driven aspects of the Govee app. While the app does show the current state of operation, it might be nice to show what level of operation has been automatically selected when running in automatic mode. As far as room humidifiers go, this unit measures up well with its generally good design and build quality. What makes it stand out from most other units on the market is definitely its integration with other home automation and sensing products, combined with its mobile app control. If you already use other Govee products, this can be a nice addition into their ecosystem of devices.
