Watching how many cauliflower and bell peppers survived these bags made me want to buy more.Usually cauliflower spoils very fast and I have to cut brown spots off it to salvage pieces to use. I bought a head of cauliflower 2 weeks ago. I took it out of the plastic and put it in one of these mesh bags. I expected to find it today, cut the brown sections off, and use it. But there were no brown areas whatsoever after 2 weeks! I was able to use the entire cauliflower and not waste any. First time that has happened.My bell peppers lasted even longer: 3 weeks. I decided to do some fajitas and found my peppers blemish free. So, they probably could have lasted longer than that.The only thing that developed mold thus far were the cucumbers, but my cumbers always spoil within a week. With these, they last almost 2 weeks.I used to use paper bags to preserve produce, but these work better and I can see through the and find what I need.

Gosh I love these bags... I bought this not only for bulk bin purchases and to minimize my use of single-use plastics, but also for the flour that I mill. I like to let my flour age a little for better gluten development, so I needed something breathable, durable, easy to clean, and reusable. These bags hold the very fine flour that I mill perfectly. No leakage or anything. The drawstring closes pretty tight, so I imagine I could transport and knock this bag around a bit and still be okay. Everything about the construction of these bags seems high quality and durable. I imagine I will get many, many used out of each bag. I was worried it might not hold up well with something like a fine powder, but I am pleased to say these work perfectly for such a thing. Couldn't recommend this more!

Great product

First off, I want to take a moment to recognize how awesome of an idea this is! Like, I have been waiting for this for years! No more carrying heavy glass jars, or wasting plastic bags! Literally, an amazing product.Pros:Lightweight, color coded tags so you can easily decide which size to use, and machine washable so if you are like me, and buy a lot of flour, sugar, and nuts from the bulk sections; you can wash it in between uses, (just remember to use a fragrance free soap so you don’t affect the taste of whatever you are putting in the bag). The bags are super durable, and a really great size. The jar of flour you see in my photo is 2.1qts and I was able to easily fit 2 of those in one big bag. I’m sure I could have fit more, but then I would have to bake up a storm! (;The two best things about this product;1. Drawstring close2. THE TARES ARE ON THE BAG’S TAG!!!Yup, that means no more weighing out your reusable jars, etc ahead of time, it’s just there for you.Which leads to the one con, and this is not a con for the product, (just human error):Most people suck at math, cashiers tend to get a little confused. Just give them clear direction; ie: “ the bag has a gate attached l, so simply subtract the weight of the bag from the total weight of the item. (Have your phone calculator handy just Incase they don’t get).Overall, this is a fabulous product for any consumer wanting to be eco conscious and

I bought these when I started baking bread for the first time in years during the pandemic. I wanted something to store my bread in that would breathe. These do the trick. I can't say they stop bread from staling, but no-one claimed they would. And since I put them in my (newly purchased) bread box anyway, they don't look all messy on the counter.The point is that unlike plastic bags, which are bad for the environment anyway, these do not hold the moisture that encourages mold to grow on bread (and softens the crust, to boot). The bags do shrink a bit in the wash, but some of that shrinkage may reflect the fact that I am not likely to iron out the wrinkles. There are reasons why human beings created all those awful synthetic fibers and materials. These bags allow one to avoid the synthetics. If I were a more organized person, I'd bring them to the supermarket and be done with plastic bags for once and for all. But that would also require a LOT of bags!!

Initial impressions:Sturdiness 5/5 - bag feels solidly constructed of good material. It isn't floppy nor is it stiff. A good light-mediumweight bag for fresh produce and loose bulk bin items.Durability 5/5 - seams are serged inside then sewn again. This double stitched seam should prove durable against heavy loose beans and rice! Fabric is of solid weave, not transparent (can't see my hand through it) but not opaque (can see the shadow of my hand). I think this is a good balance of strong versus lightweight.Easy to clean 5/5 - they're hand washable and air dryable. I have no issues with this at all! In fact, I prefer it. It's likely they could be washed in a garment bag on delicate with a cold wash cycle too.I will update with 6 month impressions as well. But so far I am happy. The package is 100% plastic free, and the little box can easily be reused, repurposed, or recycled.

I use these bags at the grocery store for my bulk purchases as well as putting fruit and veg in. Haven't tried to wash them yet, but they seem like they would clean easily.I like the variety in sizes and the draw string.One thing I made the mistake of was putting brown sugar in the bag from the bulk section, it dried up immediately and lost the moisture.

Brilliant bags for bulk buying produce. Lots of different sizes. The weight of the bag is listed on the label which is very useful. I would definitely recommend!
