Just So Stories the Elephant's Child Paperback – 1 July 2016

Really enjoy these stories - animal loving children will enjoy them. Nice for bedtime.

One of the worst children's book I have ever read to my child, the layout of the text was confusing (it was unclear whether you read each page or left to right). The text its self didn't flow easy and found myself getting tongue tied. All this I could forgive if the story was enjoyable however the story left me with a sour taste, it basically follows a elephant child that like to ask questions from his family (who are other animals) and they just dismiss him with either a kick or a pinch.So the author wants to tell inquisitive children not to ask questions or they will be hurt by the people that are supposed to care for them, so he wanders off alone, almost gets eaten by a Crocodile who stretches his nose whilst trying to drag him to his doom, he then goes back to his family and their response is that he looks ugly.The whole story is ugly with nasty characters, poorly laid out text and unnecessary long words used in descriptions.
