After reading all the reviews and installation instructions, we ordered this for our RV outdoor light replacement. It was relatively easy to install but was smaller than the previous light we removed. As some of the reviews stated, we put it in and pulled the tape off as we went. Our track was so large we did have to use some clear silicone ever so often to tack it down and keep it still until it dried well. It looks good and worked fine when we direct wired it into our camper light switch, non-dimmable. Since we got the long line, it came with a plug-in and dimmer. We had enough left that we could do a small amount of under cabinet lighting which enabled us to use the controls that came with it. So far we are very satisfied with both areas. The interior is dimmable and one color but perfect for us. The 3M backing sticks very well so far to the back side of our granite. Only time will tell how the lights hold up. It has been less than 30 days

Great led lights with rubber coating. I have been using these on my travel trailer for my outdoor kitchen. They are true white color and waterproof.

Replaced my non-working porch light on a 2016 Dutchmen. Spliced with waterproof connectors and installed in 10 minutes. Adhesive is super strong and install was slick. I got a 16 foot strip because I have a 16 foot awning and had to cut 6 inches off it. I was dreading this install but was impressed with the adhesive on the backing.

So here is a couple things to know... the lights don’t come with a power source and you have to find one that is compatible. It’s a 12v power supply required, which the connection is a round black piece with round silver housing inside, that slides into the round black piece with round silver receiver housing on the light strip.There is adhesive tape in the back side of the lights, so you can peel and stick, however the tape covering the adhesive is falling off in multiple places because of the cable being wounded in a circular spool and because of it’s rigidity. I didn’t use the adhesive, so I can’t tell you if it was strong holding or not. I assume it was still pretty strong even though the tape came off in a few places.The lights were cheap in price and I can’t complain about quality for the price... but it did seem like the rope of lights had tears on the edges in some places ... or maybe I did that while opening it ( I hope not, because I wasn’t rough).Overall the lights were bright and perfect for my use. Lighting up a pond. I would buy again.

I used this to illuminate the inside of a tail trunk on my motorcycle. It gets hot in there, so I used S3000 adhesive fillets to make sure it didn't fall of in the heat. I don't know how fussy that 12V rating is, so I had to add a dropping resistor to make sure the 16V system voltage on the bike didn't fry the LED's.I suspect that if you are good with a soldering iron you could hook up the remainder you didn't need, for another project. Great value for money. You will need to supply your own switch.The illumination is very bright in my application, and the long strip illuminates from many angles to minimize shadows.

I love these lights I put them a round my Pond. They turn around and make it look like the water is reflecting off of the plants absolutely beautiful. add such Ambience

Hi there. I normally do not right reviews on the products I purchase since I like to work with the sellers but unfortunately this seller does not respond. I have the 50 foot version of this strip light in two 25 foot sections. I prepped the surface very well by cleaning it, then using rubbing alcohol until there was no residue. I then let it dry.. They have been installed for about 3 months and on one strip the adhesive is not sticking and is starting to fall off. I contacted the seller via email (returned to sender) and via Amazon without a response. These might work out great for you or not but be aware you will get zero response from the seller.

3M adhesive on back of strips was great, i didnt even clean the surface and it stuck firmly so it seems legit. Lights up the whole rear section of my pontoon boat! Worth every penny
