I spent years thinking that "moisturizer" was for people who didn't work in garages or hit Callaway ERC Soft Yellow golf balls for four hours in the sun. I was wrong. My face was starting to look like a topographical map of the Great Basin. Then I found Neutrogena Ultra Gentle with CICA. Why This is the Secret Weapon of My Morning Routine: The CICA Factor: I didn’t know what CICA was. I thought it was a type of cicada. Turns out, it’s a legendary herb that calms your skin down. My face used to be perpetually "annoyed" by shaving and wind; now, it feels like it’s meditating. SPF 30 Stealth Mode: I need sun protection, but I don't want to look like a ghost or smell like a public swimming pool. This stuff sinks in instantly. No white cast, no greasy residue. I’m protected from the sun, but I still look like a human being, not a glazed donut. The "Ultra Gentle" Promise: My skin is surprisingly dramatic for a man of my stature. Other lotions make me break out like a teenager before prom. This Neutrogena stuff is so gentle it’s basically a lullaby for my pores. The Pump Action: No messy tubes, no fumbling with caps while my hands are still damp from the Irish Spring. Just one pump, and I’m ready to face the world (and the UV rays). Okay, if there is any product close to perfection, it would be this one. Like all of us, we kind of all get a bit lazy and don't apply sunscreen, no? Well, this product forces me to put on at least some sunscreen when I put on my moisturizer, which is like SOOOOO convenient! Furthermore, the ingredients in this are really good. CICA IS LIKE SOOOO POWERFUL in dealing with PIE (Post-Inflammatory Erythema), which I currently have, so it is nice to find a moisturizer that has it! It is quasi-thick like a sunscreen, but like all sunscreens are kind of like that, and besides, you should be applying sunscreen anyway, usually hahahahahaha. At least this product feels 10x better to put on your skin, even with the two-finger amount that is recommended. THIS PRODUCT IS ACTUALLY SO FIRE YOU ALL NEED TO BUY IT!

I tried this ultra gentle version of the Neutrogena daily facial moisturizer. I usually use because it had a sunscreen and the other ultra gentle version was not available. It’s not as light and easily spreadable as the daily facial moisturizer for sensitive and reactive skin that I used to be able to order. I will still use it because summer is coming and I need a sunscreen. Neutrogena always has good products.

Leaves my skin very soft and protected

This is a nice light product to wear here in these Iowa cold weather, either under her makeup or alone

I'm a big fan of Neutrogena products. I have extremely sensitive skin and tried this after having reactions to other moisturizers. Love this moisturizer so much! Soaks in quickly and is not greasy at all. My favorite by fsr and I have tried several.

I got this to use as a daily moisturizer for my face. When I first put it on, I noticed a strong sunscreen scent. Then, a burning sensation. It didn't take long and my eyes were watering and my face was red and inflamed. It looked like I had a horrible sunburn on my face and felt like it was on fire. I definitely would not recommend.

I purchased this moisturizer by Neutrogena, since I’m almost finished with what I’ve been using. I wanted to buy the same cream (see photo), but I’m wondering if they discontinued it, since I can’t seem to find it. Anyway, I’m not crazy about this new moisturizer. First, it comes out of the tube very easily, you end up with more than you may want to use. This also smells like sunscreen, but the smell goes away after several minutes, so that’s fine. It goes on kind of thickly than the other cream, and it feels heavy on the skin. It takes longer to dry too. I wish Neutrogena would bring back the Deep Moisture Day Cream with the SPF, I like it much better than this other stuff. I’ll use it for now, but I’ll probably shop around for something else later on.
