We slept on this mattress at a short term rental and loved it, so we bought one for us. It’s much better than expensive mattresses I’ve had in the past. It’s not rock hard by any means, but it does feel supportive. Our low backs don’t ache in the morning. Happy we got to test it out first. The Amazon delivery and haul away was quick and easy.

This mattress is worth every dollar. Me and my wife were ready to pick up the Serta foam mattress from Sam's club for $500. We read reviews of this mattress and the amazon basics mattress. But were concerned with how the mattress felt. The Sam's club mattress we tested out, sat on, laid on and jumped on. This was the main reason why we were going with the Serta from Sam's. The morning we were supposed to go to Sam's club, I read a review of this mattress that sold me. The guy was around my size (5'11, 230lbs) and answered all my questions I had hahahaaaa. I told my wife, i'm ordering this mattress (Queen size 12") it's half the price of the Sam's club Serta and if we didnt like it we could still return it. I'm glad we saved $250 by going with this mattress because its amazing. My issues, Lower back problems, I'm a side sleeper, I'm always hot, our old coil mattress sucked and My wife could feel every move i made on my side of the bed. Mattress was delivered in a day, delivery guy brought it to my door and offered to bring it inside. But it wasnt that heavy. I carried it up stairs to our room, with out a problem. Slid it out the box, cut the first bag open, unrolled it on top of our box spring and then cut the last bag open... Instantly it started to rise, slid the bag out from under the mattress and let it do its thing. To be safe and from the reviews we read, we opened the windows and had the febreeze ready. No smell what so ever. after 2 hours it was at about 10" and after 4 hours it was a little over 12". we gave it another 2 hours just incase but it didn't rise any higher. We put the sheets on and made the bed, it was higher than our old mattress. First thing i did was sit on the edge and noticed it didnt collapse. that was a good thing. Then i laid down and instantly fell in love haha. The mattress is firm but not hard. I could get in and out of bed with out my wife feeling a thing. First nights sleep was great, no issues, no lower back pain and absolutely no sweating. If you have back pain and need the support and want a good nights sleep. This is a great mattress. i'm no memory foam expert or mattress know it all. Im a regular guy that likes to sleep. This thing was easy to set up and lets me snore all night with no interruptions hahaaa Buy it NOW!

Excellent quality for a mattress if you already have a box spring or platform bed. Way more than what I expected with it coming vacuum-shrink wrapped and rolled up and placed inside of a 12x12 box. Not heavy at all either because I drug it inside, opened it, and unwrapped it myself while my husband was at work. We had purchased a one-sided pillow top when we got married about 6 years ago with a bedroom suite brand new from Rent-A-Center, so the transition from sleeping on a mattress (even a pillow top) with coils inside of it to this memory foam mattress took a night or two to adjust to. It is a firm mattress, however it's still super soft and comfy. And surprisingly, it isn't hot which was a fear we had with pitcher a memory foam mattress. I had one in the past and it was so hot sleeping on that mattress in the summer regardless of the type of fabric the sheets was made from, but the cooling gel they placed inside this one makes all the difference in the world. Sheets that you purchase today automatically come as deep pocketed sheets unlike the standard sheets from when I was a child, so any set of standard sheets you purchase nowadays is guaranteed to fit without you having to get measurements before purchasing them for this mattress. Our previous sets fit this mattress perfectly with the 12inches of memory foam that the mattress consists of. The material this mattress is made of actually keeps your sheets from slipping or coming off, guaranteeing they do not to slip whatsoever regardless of whether they're microfiber, Jersey cotton, satin, cotton, egyptian cotton, and even silk! Pretty much fills totally out to original size in minutes even though the box says 78 hrs. No problems with ours and we've had it about a month now. It's still maintaining its form and firmness. Altho it is a firm mattress, it aides and relieves pre-existing back pain and pressure quite noticeably. Our previous mattress would have my back and my husband's back in a mess before the morning. I'd often wake up about every hour and a half due to how bad my back had gotten. However, I only wake up about once a night now and that's only because we have 3 kids and j get up and check on them during the night. Neither one of us wake up groaning in pain and dreading trying to get out of bed like we had been so since we purchased this mattress. All around exceptional quality & comfort for the price and it ships rather quickly. We had ours in less than 4 days. We absolutely love ours and are glad we made the switch from our old mattress to this one!

For the money this seems to be a great mattress. I ordered 2 of these on the Black Friday sale. It pretty much takes 2 people to open it up and is quiet weighty. It's firm but comfortable. My husband likes a firm mattress and I like a little softer mattress ( because of issues with my rt hip...I need a softer mattress) and this one satiesfies both of us. We are both resting well on it and don't bother one another when getting up during the night. We neither one roll to the middle anymore. I wake up slightly sore but it attributed to having scoliosis and this mattress definitely has full body support with no sinking...so my body doesn't like being held in proper place. We are both waking up well rested and refreshed. We both have had serious neck and back issues so this is working great so far for us. I would prefer a little softer but its a personal preference and I'm adjusting...it's still soft enough that I sleep comfortably. Downside for us was that it isn't flipable because of zip liner and no cushioning on bottom side. We plan on rotating every couple of weeks and will see if it retains its shape and durability. I will try to remember to update again in a few months but overall the good outweighs the negative for us.

Ok First: I've done extensive research on mattresses, what kind of mattress does better holding up, what to look for in a mattress and what mattress firmness does better for different people and how they sleep ect. Ect..... After paying for an over thousand dollar "hybrid" mattress in store, touching, feeling, testing and being reassured by a "professional mattress store owner" that hybrids are the new elite premium purchases of all mattresses and worth their extremely high price tag, I was at a loss, three months in with my king of all kings mattress and it's already large dips on both sides of the bed from myself and my husband alike, even though we're two very very different people in size, height and weight! Now my husband is a 6'2 160 lb man and I'm a 5'9 240 lb woman, that's a fairly large difference, yet we both caused dips in that mattress within the same time frame. So yeah I've got some trust issues 😂. Trust me sleep has been unbearable.... Second: I needed a mattress that I could buy that was affordable and that was going to do its job! So I began reviewing mattress after mattress, ones best for heavier set people and ones that were reliable. I looked both on and off of Amazon. There are countless ones just like this one that come up, ranging from a little cheaper than this too a little more, but the reviews for me on this one and of course that steal of a deal price tag. Can a sounds too good too be true, be real in this world? Yes. Now I've only had this mattress for coming up on 2 weeks but following the recommended two days set time before using, when I first laid on this bed....I knew instantly that top dollar, premium hybrid was an Elite lie! I'm talking instant comfort that I'd been denied the luxury of having, because of a top dollar investment I was stuck with. This mattress has already in the time spent on it, started to relieve my siatica nerve pain that the last ugly sinful bed had caused me to have. Back pain solved (mind you, I have no extensive issues with my back, only an out of alignment hip) instant grogginess and tiredness gone in the am, I'm able to get myself out of bed because I actually slept with optimal comfort and actually get deep rest.... Go figure, you really do need restful sleep too cure most simple things that ail you 😬.... Gone fatigue and achy tired muscles, gone pinched nerves, and feeling like I'm 8 years older then I really am! Now am I getting ahead of myself? Maybe! But honestly just the two weeks that I've gotten was actually worth what I paid for this mattress already 😂😃😂.. see that tells you just how bad my "premium hybrid" really was! Alas....I know that things could change in a month or maybe even less....So I solemnly vow to come back in a month and give an update and then also at the 6 month mark and give another update and then we'll see if we make it to the 1 year mark to see what we got going on then! That way you can feel better about making an actual decision, incase you got trust issues or mattress ptsd like me, or have a similar story and have searched ruthlessly hoping to find something that'll give you and your wallet piece of mind!! I got you boo! 😂 I'm taking one for the team!! So Until another 2 1/2 weeks.....take care knowing someone out here is rooting for you to get the sleep you need!! Wait for it....... Wait for it..... It's still AMAZING... Best overall purchase I've ever made!!! No dips....No sag... Just amazing quality....I will be buying more of these mattresses for my other rooms throughout the house! If you're looking for a slightly firm but still feels soft mattress then look no further! Buy it! If the firmness part scares you.... I'll tell you a lil advice my nana gave me lol .... You can be soften a bed but you can't harden a bed! So always opt for firmer and soften too your desire!!! But this bed really has made a huge difference!

I had been looking for almost a year, trying to figure out if I wanted a innerspring with plush top or a memory foam mattress. I have never owned a memory foam mattress before and wanted to make a good investment. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have severe hip and back pain and I need a quality bed. I found this Ashley Chime 12 inch King Size Memory Foam Mattress on Prime Day and I am so glad I did. It arrived in a very long box, exactly as seen in the product video. (I do want to say to Ashley that they really should find a way to manufacture handles somewhere on this awkward box!) You cannot actually handle it very easily. It was very heavy, almost or right at 90 lbs, so you will need help getting it inside and setting it up. After opening the vaccum sealed bag it began to inflate and was full 12 inches in less than 2 hours. There was very little to no smell for me after a few hours. The first night it felt extremely firm, but I slept well. I woke up with minimal hip pain the next morning and was very happy. It seems to become softer as the days pass or it could be as I become accustomed to it. Overall I am very pleased, I got an incredible deal and my pain level has decreased. I would reccomend this Ashley Chime and I most definitely would purchase again. I will try and update in about 6 months. I am curious how it wears after some time has passed. Thanks Amazon and Ashley Furniture Update: It's been almost 2 years since I purchased this product. I'm very happy to report that I have almost no detectable wear that I can find. It is the most comfortable mattress that I've ever owned. I had never owned any memory foam mattress before and didn't know what to expect. I never thought I'd be this impressed honestly. A good night's rest is so important for good health and now I'm actually able to get good sleep. I'm so very happy with this mattress. I hope when I do have to replace this one in the future that they still have this product available. Oh and just an observation, if you have hip or leg problems you definitely should get a lower profile mattress. This one being 12 inches tall is a little difficult for me getting into some days. Once on the bed it is so comfortable. I honestly didn't consider the height being an issue before I purchased it. Chime does come in 8, 10 and 12 inch height. Hope this helps...Enjoy!

We absolutely love this mattress! Our daughter gave us this mattress for our guest room and my husband loved it so much we decided to get one for our room as well. My husband needs a firm mattress for his back and this one is perfect. The quality is very good. It expanded quickly and was super easy to set up. If you're looking for a firm mattress, this one is a very good choice.
