Rakaposhi Natural Himalayan Salt Rock Lamp w/ 6' UL Listed Dimmer Switch - 9+ lbs

I bought one of these earlier in the week for my daughters' wellness studio. It is beautiful - about 14 lbs., symmetrical, and without damage. I ordered one for myself two days ago which arrived with a broken light bulb base, so it's being returned. The replacement came the next day and it is great! This one is about 11 lbs. and is symmetrical. It came with a 20 watt bulb, dimmable. I believe if I'm reading the information correctly that it can take up to a 30 watt bulb, so I ordered 25 watt long lasting salt lamp bulbs for replacement. I chose this one because the company seems to be very customer responsive, and Amazon Prime means it comes the next day (at least to my location) and the return process is painless. I wish this company offered larger ones because my rooms are fairly large, and I'm not sure this 11 pounder will be effective. Addendum - I received my 4th lamp today and was very disappointed because of the color. The top third had no color at all - just a whitish light grey when lit. The bottom two thirds had some color but was very pale when lit. I'm returning because of the lack of color - everything else about it was fine. This one was about 10 lbs, and came with a 15 watt bulb. I think the take-away with these salt lamps is that it's hit or miss when ordering online; some are great and some not, even from the same company. I'm batting 50% so far!

Not so sure I’m seeing any health benefits from this so far, but they are very calming and pretty. Each one really is different, and they’re good quality. I got two of them. The dimmer switch is great, you can go really dim. I leave mine on a really dim setting in my room. Not something I ever thought I’d purchase, but I ran across these, bought them, and have really enjoyed them.

This salt lamp is wonderful, it adds a beautiful glow to our living room that brightens the mood. The quality is great for the low price, the bulb works, it is quite large, and the salt is real, I checked! This item would be perfect as a gift since it is so cheap yet so nice. The only problem is that there is a spot on one side that doesn’t light up, but we just hide it.

I highly recommend this Himalayan Salt Rock Lamp. It's solid, comforting and it fits right on my nightstand. It also has a dimmer switch on it and you can change it to whatever brightness you want. Overall, a good purchase that’s worth the money.

Very nice lamp! It does not calm you down like mentioned, but it is still very cool! Easy to assemble. (though it does not come with instructions) Would recommend

Beautiful lamp it's heavier than I thought it would be. It has a switch so that you can adjust the light to any brightness. I'm really pleased with it. Color is a soft pink and it's a great shape doesn't wobble or fall over at all. I will be buying more as gifts.

I never had a Himalayan lamp and I find it very cute. The rock in very very heavy but easy to set on top of a table. It has a nice light with the bulb you place inside. It comes in the shipping. The process was smooth and I really like how it looks. I had it only for a few days and do not know if it provides calm and peace yet, but so far it is very nice.

Updated: Over 1 year later and the lamp is still working beautifully. I use it daily and am so pleased with this purchase. Will be purchasing another very soon!Original review: Very nice, great quality for the price. Have seen similar lamps in small 'boutique' shops around town going for 2 to 3 times the price here.Well packaged and I love the adjustable settings on the lamp. Might purchase another but pleased with this one.
