Nice, well made set with some great features
This three piece Samsonite luggage set is truly great and well worth the money. They are sturdy, and comes in the three very important sizes each serving a specific purpose.Starting with the largest suitcase that can hold enough clothes for an extended cruise, international travel, or a family of three for a weekend getaway. The mid-sized bag is the standard luggage size, but the layout is better than most, including placing the divider panel so that when you unzip it, it lays outside of the bag instead of clumped in the middle like most bags. The smallest bag is carry on size, and has a feature that most bags in that size range does not have which is two carry handles, one on top and one on the side. Most smaller bags have removed that side handle, which makes them awkward to carry if you are in a situation where you cannot roll the bag along.Pros:- Comes in three different sizes- The larger two have TSA locks- Well laid out interior including the divider panel that zips out of the way- All three pieces have top and side handle- All three pieces have quality wheels that allow for two different ways to roll the luggage- All three pieces have expansion areas- 10 Year warrantyCons:- Warranty doesn't cover everything- Wasted space inside carry-on for USB power block (not included) that is more of a gimmick than useful- They are not cheap

This Samsonite carry-on saved me from gate-checking chaos!
I absolutely love this carry-on! It is the perfect size for both domestic and international travel, compact enough to fit in overhead bins but surprisingly spacious thanks to its expandable sides. On a recent flight to Montreal to visit my daughter, the plane was packed, and several passengers had to gate-check their bags. But the crew let me through with my adorable, compact Samsonite, while others weren’t as lucky. The 360° spinner wheels make maneuvering through airports a breeze, and the scratch-resistant hardshell still looks brand new after a few trips. It’s also lightweight, which helps avoid extra fees, and the TSA-approved lock gives me peace of mind. When I landed, the weather was so beautiful that I decided to walk 30 minutes along Ste-Catherine Street from the metro station to my daughter’s place, with my suitcase rolling beside me like it weighed nothing! The smooth wheels handled sidewalks and curbs effortlessly, and the lightweight design made it feel like I wasn’t even pulling luggage. If you want a reliable, airline-friendly carry-on that won’t let you down, this one’s a winner. Highly recommend! No cons so far for me.

Very nice and affordable set.
I love these. We took them on a trip to Europe for 12 days and I was able to fit everything in the medium size suitcase and the carryon. They were not completely full and I still had too much stuff with me. But I guess it depends on people’s packing style. For me they are a great size. They have no damage and seem to be very sturdy. I love the purple because it’s not the bright purple but still easy to recognize when picking up from baggage. The only thing I don’t like is that they open up in the middle and therefore don’t fit on those baggage tables they have in hotels. But that is the case with all hard exterior luggage. It might to be good to consider that if you are changing from fabric luggage as they usually have a flap on top rather than opening it from the middle like a book. But that has nothing to do with the quality of this set. It looks nice and is sturdy.

Too expensive, but enjoyable
I travel a fair amount - once or twice a year - but I usually buy the non-name brand luggage. I figure it won't look new for long and the performance should be about equivalent. I was mistaken - to an extent. This was a splurge gift for my wife. We travelled all over Europe for three weeks and multiple times I was really pleased with how easily they rolled, how well they resisted dirt and scuffing and the functionality of the two halves of the clamshell (one with a zip closure and one side with an elastic 'X' to hold in large light clothes). I like that there is some give to the sides (keeps weight down, less likely to crack or dent) and protects the contents. IIRC it may come with a fabric bag for storing dirty laundry. We had one for sure. Super good idea. Tip: toss in a few packets of laundry soap for sink-washing. Bonus tip: bring two wallets. One with your native currency (and the excess cash you wish to keep out of reach the pick-pockets. This stays in the locked suitcase at the hotel.)I like the combination security lock for when we left them at a hotel. It's not true security but it will keep out a peeping francois or francine because it will show tampering and not easily hackable - if you set your own code.I bought the set in silver and it was distinctive from the many navy colored cases disgorging from the ragged maw of the baggage claim. The silver color looked a bit classy (probably classier than I looked, tbh. It was late June in Rome and hot. I was a sweaty colonial mess. Thanks for keeping it cool and classy, silver Samsonite).I cannot recommend this set without reservation. They are honestly too pricey. If not for wanting to spoil my wife with the upgraded quality luggage, I wouldn't buy them. But there is more value to be had for the upcharge than I expected. Ad emptorem ire spolias
