AIR UP Pearl White Tritan + Flavor Fiesta Pods

My son wanted this bottle, and since I can't get him to regularly drink enough water any other way, we tried this. It works great for him, and he's using it and drinking water instead of sugary drinks, which to me, makes it a good purchase. I do think the flavor aspect of this bottle is a little hit or miss. My son loves it, and he says that the water tastes flavored. To me, I do smell the "flavor" but I still just taste water. So I'd rather just drink water. Personally, I also don't care for the sensation of drinking from this because to me, it feels like I'm drinking from a straw that is split. I understand that is probably necessary to impart the "flavor", but I wouldn't enjoy drinking from this cup regularly. However, my son doesn't mind that issue, and he absolutely loves this cup. I do think this is a very cool concept and hope they keep developing the idea.

This was mainly a waste of money for me. The actual bottle is one of the worst I’ve had. It’s hard to drink out of and the straw is noisy. Some of the scent pods were sticky and some of them had very displeasing smells. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone else.

The bottle sweats like crazy and the flavors don’t last as long as expected.

Good quality water bottle. My son loves the taste of the pods. He has been using it for the second year now.

A little bit pricey, but does work. The flavor pods do give it a slight flavor, but it is a very diluted, which is to be expected because you still are drinking normal water. I’d say the bottle itself is very durable. Leaks, on the other hand, can happen very often if you tip your bottle with no cap on.

My son wanted this to work so much, but it just didn’t. We tried but it was gross honestly. The tastes didn’t taste like what it said at all. The cola one tased like flat and just off… like maybe a cheap store brand soda.. not good.

I really wish this worked - I do. It does not. First off, the bottle is solid. Nice tilt to it, solid feel, I like that it's 24oz. One nitpick - the action while drinking induces a lot of air. Perhaps that's part of the design, to get your tongue to ignore the obvious fallacy being imparted upon it? Now to the flavor discs... yikes. First off, they're sticky. Accidentally handling them will cause stickiness on your fingers, and if you're unlucky enough to not be paying careful attention to how you place your mouth on the spout, your lips will also get a dose of stickiness. This has happened multiple times and is quite annoying. Second, the smell - doesn't work. I can easily smell a fruit and taste bland water. Perhaps there are others for whom this works, but it does not work for me. I did not enter this as a skeptic, I entered into it eager to prove it correct, because i don't want to keep paying for drink mixes. But there it is - the principal reason to get this item, instead of just getting another decent 24oz water bottle for a much lower cost - did not work for me. Last, the smell - lingers. If you don't have the extra top on while not drinking, the smell permeates the surrounding area. Many times I would drink from it and place it down for a few minutes, only to notice a smell coming from somewhere - lo and behold, it's the flavor disc! I'm not going to continuously put on and take off the outer cover so this is another annoyance. So, 2 out of 5 stars. The basic premise of the bottle does not work, but it's an okay sports bottle.

I was skeptical of this when I ordered it. I mean, come on, how can a smell make you taste something? Well to my surprise it actually works. I tried the peach pod and I actually taste the peach. I am not a fan of flavored drinks and plain water is boring. This has actually helped me dri k more water.

These were very bad… they didn’t close properly and leaked and actually caused extreme damage to my daughter s laptop.. not worth the hype at all..

The item looks used and old when received. The cap is yellowish and the handle looks used. I am returning this item.
