This has really helped my dog. He used to rush his food and want food straight after eating. This also caused stomach problems. Since using this bowl his eating has slowed down and his stomach problems have eased. I would definitely recommend it.The bowl itself is very sturdy and can be washed on top rack of dishwasher.
