Played old school Street Fighter games, until the family staged an intervention. So now I have to “go outside” and “be productive”. 5 stars.

I have a Raspberry Pi, and a SNK Neo Geo Pro Stick that has added games to the USB, as well as an AtGames Legends Pro that has CoinOps on it, and a couple of other sticks with hacks on them, so I am familiar with how these work. I have seen Pandora's Box products for years and was curious about them. There was not much reviews on this one in particular, so I took a chance. I was not impressed at all. I knew it wouldn't be super high quality, but the quality of this one for the cost is not there. The two separate sticks have to be connected with the included cable, it is a decent length, but lot long enough and should be able to do it wirelessly. The packaging they shipped it in was good, however, the box inside had parts and stuff floating around when I opened it up. The gaming built is tough to navigate, the joysticks are very sensative and there is no way to adjust it. I tried to change the button mapping and it is maddening trying to do it, even following the instructions. I tried plugging in a few USB based controllers, most of them did not work and were not compatable with this unit. The suction cups on the bottom of each joystick unit are worthless, a couple of them were folding from shipping and would not straighten out. They barely work when stuck on a flat surface and are not really going to do anything to keep it from slipping, some rubber feet or something simiilar would be better. I ran into a few games that would not load, the few that did had some screen tearing to it. The sounds is fair, but it comes from within only one of the joystick units. I did not see any way to open the units to upgrade or fix anything. For the price point, there are many more options that are better out there.

It worked good the first few days then it started doing a weird sound, this was the second i had gotten so i just ignored the sound fast foward to now, we are playing and the system just turns off ! Shouldve returned it when i could 😭
