What I disliked about the model was only one thing the color identification in the instruction manual other than that I give this model of five star I'm really enjoying building this I'm really into Pompeii and Roman architecture I've already built the Greek one with the Acropolis in Athens below this is a really nice model for the price it's really fantastic versus from the other L company would probably run you about 500 bucks that would be my guess anyway I highly recommend this model from this company it is a good company I built from them before they have many others that I'm going to purchase also like the Trojan Horse the helmet what else is there many more but this one was fantastic I just started it I'm on step number 14 so I highly recommend it as I said if you get it it is a challenge but it is very fun the instructions are very clear to the parts but color identification as I said is a downfall I give this model a five star

Hours spent trying to get your creation to look like the front of the box, ... those were the days.This is a beautiful set of 2,539 plastic, Lego®️ compatible bricks that recreates the historical, natural disaster of the Eruption of Mount Vesuvius which destroyed the Ancient City of Pompeii.Although, the set comes with instructions and numbered bags to help map out how to build your creation, the build is not easy. My Wife and I love building things with plastic bricks and this is very much like a 3D puzzle. The puzzle is just over one (1) square foot in size and over eight (8) inches high. It is not a small puzzle. Over 2,500 bricks are used in this design. It is really detailed. Where the instructions lack, pull from your childhood days when you built from sight.If you like to work on things in your downtime, this is something you may like. We have been working on and off on it for nearly a month and we are enjoying the shared experience. If you work at it more consistently, you will be able to finish it more rapidly. Speed is not what we are going for. We are enjoying a shared experience together and this is terrific for passing time and winding down screen-free from the day.The quality of the bricks is great. They fit well into each other and are not impossible to pry apart. However, with that said, we are not through the entire puzzle and we have not tried to handle each brick. The detail in the design is excellent and it will be a showpiece when completed.All in all, this is probably the largest plastic brick building kit we have attempted. The set is over 2,500 bricks and is suited for both children and adults. I found that building the model of the tragic end of the City of Pompeii sparked interest in learning more about the story and the historical references to the event. This set would be a great way to learn history and have fun in the process. The manufacturer does have other sets in their "Givenni Architecture" building set line. I would order another of these creations in a heartbeat. They are truly fun to put together with learning and curiosity as a side effect.I recommend this set based on its quality, design, attention to detail, fun factor, and historical curiosity. grandson loves it

This model has over 3000 pieces and you know it before you're finished.The instructions are good and will guide you through the construction but don't expect to do this over a lunch break.The destruction of the city of Pompei has been a phenomenon that historians have studied in depth and the loss of this city was catastrophic.This diorama model of the city shows it in miniature glory at the moment of that cataclysmic event.Tragic but beautiful and a lesson in history that unfolds as you build it.I love this model and will be adding others like it to my game room.Very highly recommended.

Looks very good, Not all colors in kit. Pieces sometimes difficult to connect.
